Hello everyone! This is my very first build here, so please be critical and leave your comments.

I'm going to be out-lining how to use Thresh in an AP Mid situation. Solo Top, Tank, and Bottom Support editions coming soon!

For now, this guide will be fairly short and concise, but I will update this as much as I can.

PROS

[+] A lot of CC.
[+] Ramps Armor and AP easily.
[+] Amazing Nuke
[+] Basic Attacks Ramp with Q Passive
[+] Decent Last Hitting
[+] Great Focus Damage

CONS

[-] Weak Early Game
[-] Ganked a lot
[-] Slow
[-] Can be on cooldown a lot
[-] Very little AOE damage

Now, for the reason I chose these runes.

Greater Mark of Magic Pen is obviously a great choice for anyone you're building as a caster, especially since the Season 3 changes to how Magic Pen works out.

Greater Seal of Armor helps you deal with the ADC and gives you a bit of extra sustainability when you're laning against an AD champ.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power for the actual punch you'll need to make your abilities hurt.

Greater Quintessence of Scaling Magic Resist to help protect against your AP mid opponent.

This sequence is pretty much a kill secured. While Thresh isn't good with large amounts of AOE damage, he can pull an enemy from a team fight and take him out, making it easier for your team to deal with the rest of the enemy team.
