Welcome to my guide. This guide was made to help new players learn how to play Annie. In this guide you will found more ways to use her in a properly way, and different ways to help your team in normal games or ranked games.

If you start with Annie and never play her before I recommend you to build her in a traditional way.

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration

This runes are pretty good in early game, because you need to kill some enemies who got a lot of Magic resist.

Greater Seal of Scaling Healt

This Runes are pretty goof for your late game, Because Annie is very Squishy, and is so focussed in team fights, in team fights you must live to deal damage with your opponent.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power

In my opinion this runes are better for her late game, you got a extra damage, and are better than the flat ones, because you gained the same AP amount around lvl 5

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power

These AP quintessence flats runes give you the damage at the start and are standard for most AP champs.

Greater Quintessence of Movement speed

These Mov Sp quitessence are really good if you want to star roaming around the map

Greater Mark of Hybrid penetration

These Hybrid pen. runes are great if you poke a lot with your autoatacks in early game.

Greater Quintessence of Magic resist

Magic resist runes are great if you know you are vs your AP counters.

Greater Quintessence of Scaling Armor

Armor runes are good if you know the other team doesn't have any Ap champ.

Greater Quintessence of Magic Pen.

Very recomended if you are very aggressive

Well, the masteries are at the beginning of the guide, this masteries are pretty standard and you can used it for a lot of AP champs

Annie is very easy to farm with, her Q has a great passive, well, in little words if you do last hit to a minion you do not spend mana, yeap... its free :D

Some people start with W (Incinerate), and charge their stun in base and then go to their line, but I always Start with q (Disintegrate) to get a lot of farm.

Always prioritize Disintegrate, because is your spell with less cool down reduction, and you will be able to farm better with q.

Annie hurls a mana infused fireball, dealing damage and refunding the mana cost if it destroys the target.

As well as it being an excellent last hitting tool, with a short cooldown and nice damage last hitting should be a breeze, use it to last hit minions.

Molten shield is the latest spell you prioritize, because is the most useless shield in LoL, only is used to charge your stun.

Shields Annie from harm, reducing damage she takes and returning damage from normal attacks.
Places a shield around Annie for 15 seconds, increasing her armor and magic resistance by 10/20/30/40/50. Deals 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.2) magic damage to enemies who attack Annie with normal attacks.

Tibbers... Well is Tibbers, you just press R and he do all the bad work for you

Annie wills her bear Tibbers to life, dealing damage to units in the area. Tibbers can attack and also burns enemies that stand near him.

Annie got an amazing team fight, first she got one of the most lethal AOE in League of Legends, and Second you can throw your stun twice or maybe three times in a fight, if you Prioritized Rabbadons and Void Stuff in early you will be able to kill anybody, remember that mid lane is the most important lane in LoL because you got all the map control, is not only protect your tower, you must gank other lanes to help your team, also, you must to protect your jungler, because he is the key of the game, the jungler is the surprise factor in your team, protect him for a counter jungler, give him leash and why not, make a lot of ganks with him if you can.

This is my introduction for the roaming Annie Build, well, if you played with Annie before without runes, you known she got a lot of burst damage in early, She is at her best in early, You must to gank other lanes, and that is why I want you to introduce the roaming annie Build.

This roaming is based in a Greatest Build that I watch in Lolking.com a few months ago.

Well I going to talk about the Hybrid Penetration Runes, hey dude... why the mark of Hybrid penetration?... you are crazy...

No, Annie like one of the other champs got a Atack Damage deal, you poke the opponent with your auto attacks, and you need Atack Damage penetration to get a extra damage.
Remember that runes are used for the early game... not the late game.

Movement Speed Quintessence and masteries are very necessary for this build, because you will be forced to gank other lanes, this build is great also if you are facing an Skill shot champ against you and you need to dodge their shots.

Seal of scaling health because you need Health at late game and Glyph of AP because you need an amount of extra damage.

Well, You are in the mid Lane, you must to had a great control of your map, start always with boots, and prioritize the boots of swiftness with the aclarity buff, you will be so fast, and you got a great map control ganking other lanes, remember you always need to help your team, and with this build you just made a tour in the map, searching for some kills or assists.

You got a lot of burst damage, just build items that gave you AP, Health and MGR like Liandry's torment, rod of age and Rylai's, then Build a lot of Mgr, and here you are ready to face champs like, Kassadin, Oriana, Cassiopeia or Fizz, also other ap that you think is more stronger than you, build a lot of defense and damage, and gg you can win a 1 vs 1 fight easily.

Practically you need to build Damage first and then Defense, prioritize Ninja Tabi, Warmog's and Thornmail after you get Rabbadons, Void stuff and Zhonya's, if the other team doesn't have Ap champs, you will be able to win this match thanks to this build.

Rod of Ages is great for Annie, that give you a great amount of AP, Health and Mana, If you want to buy rod of ages I recommend you to buy it as the first item of your build. It passive is very strong to had a great sustain in line because on leveling up, restores 150 Health and 200 Mana over 8 seconds.


Rylai's give you a great amount of health and Ap too and it passive is very strong in Annie, because your spell damage will slow the target's movement speed by 35% for 1.5 seconds


This item is essential for me, because it gave you a great amount of Ap, and this will be great for your combo.


I recommend you to buy Void stuff if in the other team are a lot of tank enemies, it passive gave you the 35% of Magic Penetration.


Zhonya's is very effective to save you in team fights against assasins or other damage Enemy focusses


If you know you can kill anyone and you going to rock in summoners rift buy the Mejais soulstealer and if you stacks all the Mejai's stats then prepare to be legendary!


Is a great situational item, buy it if you known that all the enemy team is focussing you first.


This item is great if you want to kill tanks easily

You ALWAYS need to buy WARDS, is not only the support's job, HELP HIM, is A TEAM GAME and don't fight with him for wards, You always GOT A LOT of money than your supp, help him with wards, and prevent a gank that can coast you the game.

Remember always to buy Elixir's when you get all your build, and buy oracle's elixir if you are facing champs like Evelyn, Talon, Akali or Shaco.
