This guide is all about my build of renekton. I like playing him as a TANK. The reason I build him this way is because weather your team does good or bad they always have a initiator and a huge tank to rely on. Renekton is a champion has almost no lanes that he cant beat and once he get a kill he can dominate the lane, just remember to keep your farm up and get your wards down.

I choose these runes on Renekton to have a good laning phase and be able to survive the lategame. You can choose other runes depending on your playstyle but these work for me.

I take the 9 points in offensive to have a good laning phase and the 21 I put in defensive is just to be a tanky beast lategame.

When I play Renekton I usually like to be againts an ad apponent so I can rush Sunfire Cape and burn people with it. There is many ways to play renekton but i personally think the best way is tanky. You can build him with damage but he wont be as effective lategame. The good thing about renekton is that he can adapt to witch laneapponent you have.

Be sure to ward as often as you can but if you dont start with wards you can just slice through the enemy jungle and dice away. You also have your gost if things get nasty and ignite and ult to turn turret dives on its head.

Being the tank for your team is very important because you want everybody worrying about the Renekton on top of them instead of giong for your adc and mid.

Pros: He is a very good if not one of the best top laner, because he has hp regen with is q, a stun and autoattack reset with his w, a excape with his e and a ult witch give him more hp and damage as well. He can win almost any lane if played well and cant be killed lategame.

Cons: He pushes the wave automatic when you harras so you might find yourself in a bad spot when the jungle comes.

You have to be sure that your team is in on your plans and trust you to iniciate with them following up. Its very important to use smartping because is quicker and more effective than the chat and if your team does bad, dont rage or say thet they are bad, because they might not trust your calls when the game goes on.

Renekton can farm very well as 3 of his abilitys does aoe damage and your w can be used if u just mistimed your auto. Just remember not to spam your q and e on waves, because you will get pushed up and maybe killed.

Renekton is a good all round character with high base damage and good hp lategame. Just remember to ward, communicate and watch your map and youll be a good player (not just with renekton) in no time.
