just a quick guide because I was bored. Give it a try!
Maybe I will make it bigger and better if I get good response. :)

Darius is a extremly potent solo top melee fighter with great damage, average to good survivability and crowd control.

Pros

• BLOOD AND GORE ;D
• Slow and pull abilities
• KillSAVING Ultimate ;)
• Single and AoE Damage
  

Cons

• Kinda squishy in the beginning in my opinion, I do not know why
• Can be hard to get many Hemorrhage stacks, depending on the enemy team setup
• Dunno...make some comments with suggentions^^
  

Self Explaining, Armor Penetration for Damage with auto-attacks, Decimate and Crippling Strike and Armor/Magic Resist for Survivability. Movement speed to escape, catch enemies etc. makes Ghost even faster. If you use Flash it could be better to use Armor Penetration Quintessences.

I prefer Havoc instead of Vampirism . Lethality is useless with my build so put it to Vampirism or Butcher . I would really like to take the movement speed in the Utility tree but without the denfense masteries you just fail solo top.

Just logical. Building up Decimate first because it increases your damage the most at first. Crippling Strike starts scaling better if you already have more dmg in mid/lategame, but you need the slow, of course. Same for the Apprehend Amor Penetration because it is pecentaged. Ultimate when possible like always, really try to finish of enemies, but not too late so it more wasted mana than made dmg...and not to early. Really try to use the health bars it is very useful!

Ghost: Standard escape, chase etc. tool

Ignite: Healing reduction extremely useful against Volibear for example + extra dot

Flash: If you prefer flash instead of Ghost, take it

Exhaust: Alternative for Ignite pretty useful too, your choice. Less Armor/MR anf dmg for enemies is alsways a good thing

Normally I would start with Regrowth Pendant and Health Potion, but against Olaf/Sion and so on Doran's Shield is really great.

Philospher's Stone Very important, almost no mana problems with it.

If you get ****ed up by one Damage Type do not hasitate to buy Ninja Tabis or Mecury Treads.
Normally I use Berserker's Greaves for ca. 1,1 Attackspeed which is very nice to apply Hemorrhage and dps which is perfectly enough. Furthermore get Frozen Mallet and Maw of Malmortius. Just extend your damage with the other items and change Berserkers for Mercury Treads for Tenacity.
