always pop off hp pots during fights, have your finger on the hp pot hotkey during and after
just incase you run off , you need to pop off that hp pot to keep you alive if they did the same thing to ignite.
The time warp tonic you have in your rune page is OP asf
its ignites counter
and makes mid laners with ignite useless because as you run off
pop the hp pot, then it saves you from ever dying because it gives hp pots that extra kick to save your life early game. take advantage of it. thats why i say always have hp pots on you 3-5. 5 only if youre suffering in lane and are just laning just to farm at that point.

the start of the game abuse the burst dmg from the rune page
keep poking and save your ignite to finish off the opponent when you feel the need your last Q>E combo needs that little kick if they flash off running. thats where ignite comes in and secures the kill when they run off.

the IDEAL IS TO poke with E since for you are going for ap early game, J4 doesnt run primarily only on dmg stats because he is so strong early and throughout the game . HE IS UNSTOPPABLE MACHINE

because j4 Q and E are mana hungry you want to take advantage even having such a item, dont fully build it just have it on you item list till late game.
2nd back - you should have enough for mejai/ kindle gem and that should be the time for the rune page to give you slightly magical boots. SHEEN IS KEY

I rarely even use boots unless in certain situations i need that extra + magic pen/ Armor/ Atk speed/ Magic resist. Since rune pages automatically give + 16 MR i rarely ever go mr boots. BUT ONLY IF IM FACING THE DEVIL VEIGAR or something like that.

SO ONCE YOU Q>E to knock up pick offs your crown will go off by itself.
Pop the gargoyal stoneplate once the crown ends and you will live forever.

AND STAY ALIVE.
At 20 mins you can have crown gargoyal and mejai at 25 stacks, this is with your slightly magical boots from runes. and HP POTS.

ideally i go for just the fact you are able to have sheen is a plus passive dmg additive so i never sell it.
what you do with tear is completely up to you
if oyu like tanking dmg go for winters approach. or for dmg for for that manamune
Take advantage if you ever go collectors
to last hit EVERY SINGLE THING IN YOUR AREA. even if you have to flash-> AA> to secure a kill
COLLECTORS HELPS USEFUL TO KILL A WarWick that HEALS TO SAVE HIMNSELF / prevents clutch trade offs from WW
kills WW immediately before he has the chance to health steal.
