Introduction
For runes Irelia can go almost anywhere. I dont generally get CDR on runes or masteries on Irelia just because you will generally get alot through your items such as
Frozen Heart and
Trinity Force, so for Glyphs/blues I prefer something like health or MR or Armor, instead of CDR. For marks and quints, I prefer to run AD, but they are very situational. You can also run attack speed, armor pen or any sort of defense, depending on what you and what your team needs. For seals, basically anything will work, but I prefer basically any defenses, anything from Armor, MR, Health, or any of those scaling will work, but I usually will run HP/HP per level.

Just like runes, masteries on Irelia can be all over the place. For top lane, I prefer to run
Grasp of the Undying but
Fervor of Battle
and
Thunderlord's Decree
work great too, although
Grasp of the Undying works great for top lane, and thats why I like it more.

As stated many times before, Irelia is an extremely versatile champion. She has a multitude of build paths that are much better dependent on the situation. Although the way I prefer to build her is like a bruiser with AD and tank stats in runes masteries and items. Runes and masteries will be the same as stated before but I enjoy bruiser items such as
Trinity Force and
Dead Man's Plate. These two items will generally be your core items. Other great items that you will generally always be getting could be like
Randuin's Omen
Banshee's Veil and
Sterak's Gage, although I kept them out of the core because you will not be getting all of these every single game.

For skill sequence on Irelia it doesn't really vary as much as runes and masteries. You basically will always want to take Q at level one so you can farm easier. For maxing your abilites it depends on matchup. When matching up against squishy targets, always max your E first because your W will be useless if youre not against a tank. If youre against a tank top lane always max your W first for the true damage, and max E second
To be honest, I have no clue what this means, but assuming it means summoner spells I like using
Flash and
Teleport because
Teleport works better for top. I personally hate
Ignite especially for top lane on Irelia. I suppose that you could do it if you were going mid lane you could run it, but for top I always take
Teleport.
