Champion Build Guide

Urgot ADC Season 11 (v10.24)

By banewastaken
Hello! Are you playing League all by yourself, and you find yourself in champ select, it's your turn to pick, and you realize... Your team has no frontline. As an ADC, I found myself often in this situation, and I always dodged. Until one day instead of dodging, I instalocked Urgot. I don't regret that decision to this day.

I will be explaining the niches of Urgot ADC, but I recommend this guide: for much more in depth information
Early Game Back to Top
Alright, you picked Urgot because your team didn't pick an engage, right? So you're stuck with two types of support now:

Mage supports:
Mage supports can give you some breathing space to farm safely because they will be poking the enemy down (unless they have engage support, then you're screwed if they don't play correctly). Overall, not the worst. Brand, Xerath, and Zyra, all have CC for your ultimate, so you have insane kill pressure level 6.

Enchanter supports:
Well, you're screwed. Yuumi and Lulu both scale incredibly well into the late game with you, but that laning phase will be a lot of pain. Freezing with Urgot it's hard because of his shotgun legs passive but you have to try your hardest to make it work, that mid to late game will be worth it, trust me.

But... what happens if you just picked Urgot ADC for fun, and have an engage support?
Boy oh boy, you are about to get some kills. Since the enemy probably won't know Urgot's damage, they will underestimate you. Your support will go in and then you'll just... oneshot them. Every little mistake they make can turn into a kill. Play aggresive with your support and ward to avoid ganks.
Mid-Game Back to Top
You will want to be splitpushing near an objective, since you won't have Teleport like toplane Urgot does. Pick a sidelane, split there, let your support help other people, you are basically Urgot top without TP, play it that way. You have insane turret taking power and can create a lot of pressure for your team that way.

Urgot's main objective in a teamfight is to get a good fear off with Fear Beyond Death, if he gets a good one off, he basically wins the teamfight for your team. If you need to be the one initiating, look to quickly burst a squishy and get the fear off, if your team already has CC'd someone, burst them down and fear them.

More in-depth guide here:
Late-Game Back to Top
Your job remains the same. Splitpush near objective, get fears off in teamfights, peel for whoever is your carry. Win the game.
