This is what my way of playing Volibear is all about. In my eyes he is a tanky assassin, able to kill the enemy adc, midlaner or even jungler in around one second. This combo will make you win EVERY MIDGAME if you are able to master it. The combo: Run in with q and flip - R immediately - use e instantly afterwards, if everything is correct, a basic attack will have happeend while you used your e - use Titanic Hydra's active effect - w. This combo takes around 1.2 seconds and will make you do 1100 to 1700 damage depending on level and items, it is herefor recommended o get a sheen as first item for your trinity force after getting your titanic hydra for more oneshot potential. If already in melee range with the enemy, a far more reliable combo is R - Basic Attack - Q - E, Titanic active, W. These last 3 steps are done in a very quick succession, hence them being put within the same activation. This combo is faster than the previous one and can be done effectively mroe reliably.

I like to play my lane very defensively. As a character with a flip and a cc ability, you can make yourself unkillable under your tower or flip enemies under it or a secured kill/heavy burst. One thing to keep in mind is that you have your passive, enemies will very commonly overextend and find themselves in a tricky situation when your passive suddenly triggers. Saving your abilities for the last moment is therefore one of my favourite things to do since it immediately turnes the tide of a trade in lane. I never use my abilities to farm, as I need them for a potential engage/disengage. Lategame you can be very aggresive and I also recommend to use your TP for dragon/bot lane since this season is all about objectives.
