Introduction
Here is a more in-depth video about Jax:
I like to get my Counter Strike at level 1 because it basically allows me to avoid 1.5 seconds of damage in a level 1 team fight and then potentially stun their whole team, which will usually net a kill.
R>W>Q>E
* only max q before w if you feel you need a lower cool down escape ability
Tips:
+ If you can run up to your opponent and attack them do so in order to not waste your Leap Strike ability
+ Try to activate your Empower right after an auto attack because this will reset your attack timer
+ You can activate Empower before using Leap Strike to do damage more quickly but this is not recommended
+ Don't be afraid to pop your ultimate at any given moment, it has a decently low cool down and will often save your life
Pros
+ Short Cool downs
+ Ability to dodge auto attacks and reduce Aoe spells damage
+ Extremely versatile
+ Hard to build against because he is hybrid
+ Can quickly enter and escape fights with q
+ Very high move speed (base 360)
+ Overall easy champ to play
Cons
- Melee, vulnerable kiting
- Countered by hard Crowd control
- Average early game
- Very item dependent

Core Items: Bilgewater Cutlass, Hextech Revolver, and either Ninja Tabi or Mercury's Treads - The cutlass allows to chase down kills with its slow proc and gives you the option to sustain some jungle creeps for extra gold.
Mid Game: Hextech Gunblade and Guinsoo's Rageblade - At this point in the game you are very strong and can basically win any 1v1 fight. (unless there is a fed tryndamere or opposing Jax) Try to engage in as many fights as possible during this phase because you are the strongest during this time.
Late Game: Iceborn Gauntlet or Trinity Force - Buy the iceborn gauntlet if the enemy team is primarily AD, and get the trinity force if you need more damage. However, if your losing teamfights at this point its best to buy a defensive item then come back to a Trinity Force or Iceborn Gauntlet to top your build off.
Situational: , , , , - Feel free to add any defensive item you think is necessary

Vs. AP - , , , , ,
*may not be much Magic resist in this example build but the bloodmail is meant to survive the chunks from mages until you can get up close and personal with them
