Wukong is a damage based tanky DPS with a fun and fast paced gameplay. He's at home in the top lane and sometimes goes on vacation in the jungle. This guide is specifically for his solo top play.

Takeat level 9 to increase early game burst. Some people prefer to take at 9 but the damage output isn't as satisfying as his Crushing Blow. Decoy should never be maxed first or second unless you are building an AP Based Hybrid Wukong in which case you should just uninstall game.

The Best Wukong Spells

Flash can close gaps; increase them; jump through ledges and trees and is just the greatest summoner spell ever.

Ignite is also great because Wukong tends to let enemies get away with little health left. This helps to close in on kills.

Other Viable Spells (To replace Ignite)

Use this before casting Cyclone to ensure the kill.

Very good for offtank or tank. Provides a better bait than HEAL
Provides good laning sustain and good turret rushes. Does not provide as good a bait as BARRIER

Not so bad spells

Good for keeping your lane still.

I wouldn't recommend it but some people are really great with this.

DO NOT TAKE

You aren't a hipster support or a Blitzcrank.

Wukong is not that mana hungry.

PROS

Great early game burst damage.
Fast Paced late game.
Tanky late game with equally good damage.
Decoy is one of the best spells NA, EU, KR, BR(hue) and EVERYWHERE.
Great for last hitting creeps.
Spins to win.
IS A MONKEY.
Knows Wuju style.

CONS

Is prone to silences and stuns.
Needs Trinity Force which delays other core items.
Uses mana (not too much but still uses mana)
Can get stunned while using ulti thus cancelling it.
