Who am I?

Hey guys and welcome to my Yasuo guide. In League of Legends, I am known as "Big Shawn". I have played League since Season 5 and would say myself that I improved a lot. I would not classify myself as a "good" player, but a "decent" player. I am currenty in Gold tier and I am aiming for Platinum this season. I am publishing this guide because I want to show the way I play and hope that I can help some of you. I recently surpassed 800k+ points on Yasuo and through that, we can clearly see that I enjoy this champ and didn't progress well. So how did it come to me maining Yasuo? It began already at the end of season 5 when I faced a person who played this champ, and I am the type of guy who loves mobile champs, probably a reason why I am not in the high elo, but like everybody says, it's about the fun! :-)
I noticed the mechanics of that guy playing Yasuo and I became a real fan of that champ. As soon as I got him, I played him 24/7. He is an amazing, fun but difficult champ. Some say he isn't difficult, but that's because they haven't tried or played him before and are just moaning about his "Damage Potential". He is a "High Skill High Reward" champ, where certain people would disagree on it and so on. But everybody thinks different anyways. As long as you can climb, win games and have fun, everything is good I suppose.
Back to introducing myself. I am a main Midlaner since playing Yasuo and have learned to play other champs like Ekko and Kennen which are also so much fun. I can only recommend playing these champs. But I focus more on learning new champions and improving, meaning it doesn't matter to me much what people think of my champion pool and so on. With this said, lets jump right to the guide!

Runes

Beginning with the runes. I use these runes as I am a pretty aggressive type of player. With Aggressive I mean, seeking to challenge an Opposition and willing to engage in Teamfights. Going into the runes.

Fleet Footwork. Moving and basic attacking generates Energize stacks, up to 100. When fully Energized, your next basic attack will allow the Heal power restore 3 − 60 (based on level) (+ 30% bonus AD) (+ 30% AP) health and grants 20% bonus Movement speed for 1 second. I aim for sustain on the lane, meaning I seek to stay as long as I can on the lane to gain and keep my advantage against my opponent. Thanks to the healing and use of healing potions, and the fact that Yasuo is able to bully almost any champ early game, you are able to afford risky plays and mistakes, but not too many!

Triumph. Takedowns restore 12% of your missing health and grant an additional 20 gold. I love this rune because it allows me to dive the enemy. Squishy targets are easier to kill, meaning you will be more capable of diving the target. But if you get ignited and you are about to die, that refund of Health Points will potenitally save your life and keep your KDA a bit clean.

Legend: Alacrity. Takedowns on enemies grant permanent Attack Speed. This is a huge advantage for Yasuo. You can count on an increase in Cooldown Reduction for your Q Ability and E Ability.

Coup de Grace. Deal more damage to low health enemy champions. Yasuo is the kind of Champion who you can build random things with. Dealing increased damage on low targets allows him to be more of an assassin. This is an optional rune, feel free to change it but I prefer this rune as most of the midlaners are squishy.

Domination. With Yasuo taking Domination, you will take on the more Aggressive side of his. You are willing to kill the opposition as fast as possible and want to take advantage of him/her.

Taste of Blood. Heal when you damage an enemy champion. Some people prefer to select Sudden Impact over Taste of Blood, which isn't bad. But like I mentioned with Fleet Footwork, this allows me to have more sustain on the lane. Obviously if you hit your tornadoes. Damaging an enemy champion heals you for 18 − 35 (based on level) (+ 20% bonus AD) (+ 10% AP). These are free lifesteal options which allow you to become so powerful in early and mid game, so why not take the chance?

Ravenous Hunter. Unique takedowns grant permanent healing from ability damage. This rune is a free lifesteal rune. It grants you more lifesteal per takedown.

Spells

Ignite. (F) Ignite is a Summoner Spell which I love and a spell which got me the most kills. It is beautiful when diving an Enemy player under tower.

Flash. (D) Very useful for the Beyblade combo and to escape tight situations.
