You wish to learn the hard way, I see (INTRO)

So, the entire point of this build is to stack up items until you can be basically invincible and kill whoever you want. Between Hydra and Elixir of Wrath, you will have only 22% lifesteal, but you deal so much damage with attacks that this is enough for you to rek face. The wonderful thing about Master Yi is that his q enables him to teleport to an enemy, but during this time all attacks and abilities used on him completely miss. Then in a teamfight, he can pop Meditate and suddenly start healing while effectively negating all damage thrown at him. Let me put it this way: his 70% damage reduction while channeling Meditate is the same reduction Alistar gets while using his ultimate. With this build, you spend the early game farming the heck out of the jungle and ganking when there's a good opportunity until you can delete whoever you choose.

Blade and Body (ITEMS)

The idea of this item build is to stack on-hit effects and damage for a deadly wombo combo with yourself because who needs a team? From 2 Van Damm's (50% Crit) + Lightbringer (30% Crit) + Stattik Shiv (20% Crit), you now have exactly 100% crit chance, meaning every Alpha Strike will deal critical damage. Also note that since Lightbringer's passive causes bleeding for 90% of your bonus AD on crits... this will proc on literally every single autoattack. You also have bonus damage from Devourer's which hopefully you farmed the heck out of, Ravenous Hydra, and Stattik procs. (Now you see where the one-hitting comes from). If you are having trouble getting kited, swap out the 2nd Pillager for an item like Tri-Force or Zephyr. If the enemy team gets a little too tanky, just throw in a Last Whisper and watch them cry.

So y'all probably all know how to master Yi, because he is Skrubl0rd N00b of the N00bliest, but here's just a couple tips:
When clearing a camp, attack it once and then immediately Alpha Strike to dodge the attacks of the monster. Always try to time your q so that you dodge attacks.

In the same way, activate your Wuju Style just before your double attack passive procs, because this will allow you to get in more attacks with true damage.

Remember you earn smite bonuses from smiting different camps. The golems are probably the best choice, as you get to the stun incredibly quickly due to your attack speed and passive. This will give you the durability to farm successfully into late game.

You can use Hydra's active while you are in the middle of your Alpha Strike, which will use Hydra for you as soon as you are out.

Time your Alpha Strike and Meditate in fights to negate enemy damage and outplay them. Also remember that kills and assists reduce the cooldown on your basic abilities, so these can be vital to winning a fight.

Even though Alpha Strike is targeted, you can still use it to escape if there is an enemy minion wave between you and your base.

Your Meditate heal is increased the lower health you are.

Once you have your Hydra and some attack speed, you can probably solo Vilemaw, definitely with 1 or 2 team members, so make sure to grab it when it's up.
