Introduction

Have you noticed that this flippin ninja and with another flippin within League of Legends looked like the characters in the animation (1987) and the movie that was released in theater (2009)? You're right! They were based on those characters but I will not mention their names as you already know who they are.
Pros
+ Decent - High damage input mid to late game
+ High attack speed, decent life steal
+ Good/Fast jungler due to
Shadow Slash's low cooldown, decent farmer

x9 = This gives you enough armor to stay in lane.

Greater Quintessence of Defense x1 = This can provide you with additional armor once you reached level 10 and late game.
x2 = Like what is stated above only that this rune gives you magic resistance.

Zed
Greater Mark of Desolation x6 = Provides armor penetration to penetrate armors of other monsters in the jungle.
x3 = This gives you a small amount of damage to be used with the quints.
x9 = This gives you enough armor to stay in the jungle for long.

Items for
Zed (Laning)
Boots
- this must be your first item along with 3
Health Potions
B. F. Sword
- this must be your item followed by
Vampiric Scepter <--- helps in sustaining your lane but don't make it
Bloodthirster yet.
Black Cleaver
- this is your next core item as this gives you decent damage, attack speed and armor reduction of 15 for 5 seconds that stacks up to 3 times.
Mercury's Treads
- helps lessen the crowd control on
Zed and also gives a fair amount of Magic Resistance
Wit's End
- This item deals magic damage per hit and gives you another decent attack speed, magic resistance and the one that stacks up to 4 times.
Bloodthirster
- gives a high damage (especially when the stack is full) and gives you decent lifesteal.
Sunfire Aegis
- what's with this item? gives you health, armor and magic damage within a 400 radius around you.
Guardian Angel
- a very good item which gives enough armor, magic resistance and revives your champion after being killed on the spot.
AD Carry (If
Shen / Morrigan were to Ult me) it's not necessary to have them as long as you know when to enter in team clashes or assassinate squishy champs within your vicinity.
Berserker's Greaves
- gives you decent attack speed and movement speed
Phantom Dancer
- gives you high attack speed, movement speed, and a high critical chance
Infinity Edge
- gives high damage as well as high critical chance and critical damage
Youmuu's Ghostblade
- this item grants you additional AD, Critical Chance and Flat Armor Penetration. And what's best about this item is it's active ability which grants you with an increased attack speed and movement speed.
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
- gives cool down reduction and decent movement speed
Wriggle's Lantern
- not much here. It an item which makes jungling a lot easier but you might want to sell this for better items late game.

used in either escaping or closing your gap with an enemy champ

It's good to use this SS when backdooring your enemy turrets and teasing your enemy to divert their attention and breaking their focus when making team clashes in game. lol

Okay. This is pretty obvious. It's use is for fleeing and chasing enemy champs. Also very effective when backdooring your enemy and using this for them not to catch you. =)

Use this for chasing and escaping. It can greatly lower an AP carry's ability power so they can't do that much damage (e.g Katarina, Veigar, Brand, etc..)

Use this if you'll be jungling.
Try to last hit minions as much as possible. Perfect creep score won't hurt. =)) But try to avoid getting harassed if you have an enemy champ capable of harassing from afar.
*TIP*
Don't over extend your lane, ever! Unless your jungler says so. You don't know when the enemy jungler might show up so it's better to be aware and stay in the safe zone just in case. It's better to stay alive than feeding your enemy with kills.
Blue Line - Flash Direction
Yellow Line - Walk Direction
or
If you really want to harass and kill enemy champs even up to their turret (even tower diving) place a ward on spot where the jungler might show up to warn you if he's up for a gank and for you to know when to stop extending or harassing your enemy or still pursue if you're confident enough to kill them. Either solo top or dual lane. =))
Here is a map of a good ward spot for you to learn where to place it. :)

Okay, it's jungling time! It's very hard for some champ to jungle including
Zed but with the right combination of runes and masteries, it will be possible.
*Take note that you have to max his 'E' or
Shadow Slash as this skill will help you jungle fast with it's very low cooldown especially when you already have
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
First buy
Cloth Armor and 5
Health Potions then start at the lizard elder to get the red buff then start to gank the bottom but of course you have to wait for your team to reach level 2. (Only do this if ganking is possible.) Don't be reckless as you or 1 of your team mates might become the casualty so be tactful.
Just go on with the old jungle route (Energy based champ)
red lizard elder buff-->Wolves-->Wraiths-->Blue golem buff-->dual golems-->wraiths-->gank--> etc..
*Counter jungling
Either
1. take 2 golems on top, then their lizard elder or go to their blue buff near the dragon
- then start killing the enemy jungler (if possible) as it depends on how you will carry
Zed. Then get
Wriggle's Lantern then proceed with the build found at the top.
