Why Zyra Bot Lane

Zyra is a DPS imobile mage that has been commonly acomodated previously in the mid lane and in the support role, becuase her high early damage and her utility. Most recently she has been played with some popularity in the jungle, due to the Fated Ashes items.

Other AP Campions have made their way to the bot lane in the recent years, and if you put two plus two you can already guess Zyra is a good contender for the role. Zyra has a lot of the tools required for the role, and in my opinion bot lane is the best role for Zyra at the moment.

Zyra is a Champion that, like Adc's, works better with a lane partner. The longer an enemy is locked in place, the longer Zyra's plants damage will be exploited. Also as she has no mobility she needs help walking off difficult situations.

When to Pick

Zyra is a Early to Mid champion. She works with two items, she's a monster with three. Zyra's Late game is not bad, she will still scale well, but shes not an hyper carry.

Zyra works well as a first or second pick. Your team will probably pick accordingly, and the enemy team wont expect Zyra to be Bot Lane.

As fourth or last pick you need to take more considerations. Do not pick Zyra if your teams is already heavily AP. Dont pick Zyra if either you have a peel Support or the enemy comps calls for an Hypercarry.

Having a Viego, Yasuo or Yone in the teams always opens the posibility for an AP bot Lane. Zyra works well with enagage supports and bully supports (especially if they're AD). I advise not picking Zyra if the enemy team has Urgot.

Pros: AP bot lane. Magic DPS. Lane Bully. Fast wave clear. Great CC. Good at teamfights.

Cons: Imobile. Less DPS than ADC's. Weak 1v1. Weak siege. Unpopular pick.
