Anyway, all silliness aside, Sona's support items are all situational.
If you're building her for damage, she technically falls under the "sustained damage" type and you need to build health/resists to make her effective. RoA is a great item for this and it alleviates most mana problems you would encounter. Although, getting the cash for it is a little rough.
Any aura items are always based on your team comp. Zeke's is more for an Olaf+Vayne team than "always buy it" whereas Will is probably not the best item overall because of your low damage unless the AP mid needs it.
More CDR is always good for more uptime on the ult.

(I don't play sona enough to give an accurate synapses)

Looks like a standard support build to me :)
I would not recommend
Will of the Ancients however. It is quite expensive and you do not really benefit from it, nor will you have a lot of teammates benefiting from it.
But after you finish Philosopher's Stone,
Heart of Gold and
Boots you should always have 5 Sight Wards in your inventory, and possible an
Oracle's Elixir up. Early Oracle works wonders sometimes!

I know about the early Oracle's and having a bunch of Wards, though usually I keep like 3 on me, buying more if I know I need to ward some important stuff like dragon and baron. I've played quite a bit of support, it's the one thing I can thank my ELO for.
Will of the Ancients is actually one I buy quite often, as I like to get it if we run double AP, and one doesn't get it for some reason, or if we have a
Vladimir,
Morgana, etc, that already built one. Usually it's built after tier 2 boots, RO, Shurelya's, and Aegis anyways.
Concerning CDR, I don't think Sona needs 40% CDR as much as Soraka, her heal has a low enough cooldown. Honestly though, Shurelya's + Randuin's gives 20% CDR, and if you get CDR boots, you have 40% CDR with
Intelligence

If I helped you, click that +rep!
it's quite standard for a support build so it's fine.
Thank you jhoijhoi, Keondre, LaCorpse, The_Nameless_Bard, Arcana3, Apfeljack, Hogopogo, eddie199, Xiaowiriamu, and JEFFY40HANDS for the spectacular sigs!

Yeah, I wish there were more options for support characters, but unfortunately, there isn't.
There are quite a few items and some options in changing the style from game to game. I don't get your problem :)
