Hey y'all,

I have been playing a lot of Anivia lately and I really like her. I have one problem however; her insanely slow movement speed. Which items/runes/masteries do you consider viable to fix this? Or do you think her movement speed is fine as it is?

I already use 4 points in the Swiftness mastery, I have been considering Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed but they are really expensive so I figured I should ask first before getting them. How about Lich Bane for an item? It gives movement speed bonus, and some nice other stats.

Well let me know what you think :D

She is indeed very slow, and it's mostly annoying when you land a Q during lane phase but can't get an E there due to MS. Currently I run MS runes on all my casters and can feel some difference with Anivia, so I would say yes, go ahead ;)

Think of her like a tank (Real world kind not lol kind), Slow but deadly xD. MS quints will give you a slight relief, as they essentially make you have the same base movement speed as other APs such as annie( 1.5% ms each, that on anivs base ms is 311.4. Annie has a base MS of 310 so if she does not get MS runes to you are actually 1 MS over her with quints xD). Telling your team to get Janna also helps.

i think its really a situational opinion on this one. if you have a junger who can set up kills, or an enemy AP that doesn't realy have many skill shots, i'd say just go with AP quints. if you have an enemy ap like cassiopeia, i'd suggest getting the ms quints. against her, you'd need all the early ms you canget =)
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

I've seen people get Boots of Swiftness on her and getting an early Void Staff. Dunno if they were trolling, but it seemed viable.

If I helped you, click that +rep!

i use 2 MS quints and 1 AP quint.

The MS sets you slightly infront of 300 and 305 base MS enemies. Which is pretty darn nice!

The 1 ap quint? Well it does give u 10 damage on every Q-E combo and helps you push. I feel that the 5 ap and 3% movement worked best for me(especially cuz i don't get any ap on her early)
Ty MM and Blood for the sigs :3 | Rammus is comming back - heard it here first!

MS works AP works too. Depends on your playstyle.

I would say to not get Lich bane as you won't be autoattacking unless your team is forcing theirs to retreat in teamfights.

I personally would just go for something like
boots 3
RoA
sorc
raba
void
WotA / Rylai
Zhonya

Or you can be Froggen and go manmode.
Froggen is numba wan Anivia go watch him play ^ ^
Jiji's also really good with anivia

I wouldn't want Lich Bane. Her autoattack animation takes forever and it's already scary enough trying to use your combo. Her E is pretty close range. Can be dangerous enough without waiting to autoattack.

I played her recently against a Leblanc and ran with my veigar page (mpen reds, mp5/lvl seals, MR glyphs, MS quints). Worked rather well. I think MS on her is fine because your Q generally stuns when you're out of range. Extra speed is really nice to close the gap and deal some damage before the CC wears off. Kinda like casting Veigar's stun at max range, then running up to use your combo.

She's also really slow. :D
Thanks to Minho for the sig!
