With the new Grail coming out, I wanna know how everyone is going to build it. Since I have a strict way in which im going to build something I'm having a hard time on were im going to place the item. Well not really the grail, but the items in which make the grail. Fendish Codex, is just somewhat bad in my opinion. I never bother building it on anyone now since, you don't need it for DFG. Chalice of Harmony, is were I see this item being really good. But I have no idea, where im going to place that item. For example on Lux we all know that you gotta have pure damage all day for Lux to shine. It sorrta has the same argument as RoA. I'm thinking of putting it after Lich Bane in my build. For on other champions such as, Ahri, im thinking of putting chalice as my first item after boots.

Also with trying to find a place for chalice, would this not increase the viability of a full MR set even more?
Thanks to everyone that has made me a sig!

I imagine everyone is going to build it on every single AP and it's going to be horrible.

If you want to build it at all, you have to have low CDs, mid level mana costs(or a constant effect) and decent killing power.

Swain and Anivia are prime subjects for it as well as champs with weaker early games because Chalice of Harmony gives MR to win trades.

Of course, it's a #1 item for Galio.

Can someone link information as to what Athene's Holy Grail is actually going to be, or is planned to be, or just say what it's stats are. I've obviously been living under a rock and haven't even heard of it. O.o

athene's unholy grail.

80 ap, 40 mr, 15mp5, 15% cdr
Passive: restores 12% of max mana on kill or assist
unique passive: increases your mana regen by 1% per 1% mana you are missing.
does not stack with chalice of harmony

builds from Chalice of Harmony, Fiendish Codex, Amplifying Tome

i say Swain, Anivia, Galio really. otherwise i would hardly build it.

Can't wait to use it on Lux, maybe Veigar too. Looks to me it fills exactly the role that the old Morello's was supposed to fill. AP/mp5/CDR and it gives a bunch of MR to boot. MR is pretty hard to come by on mages (the only MR/AP item being Abyssal Mask, excluding lich).

15% CDR is also a near-perfect amount. Combined with Sorcery and blue buff, you'll be at 39%. You can use blue elixir when blue buff is down (grail helps sustain your mana too).

Sure, it might be over-used, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited to try it and slip it into a couple core builds.
Thanks to Hoppermh for the sig!
