I've seen [[morellonomicon]] built in lane against ranged AP champions with some degree of success. [[Sorcerer's Shoes]] and [[Haunting Guise]] are also decent options. I consider all of those items more useful than Iceborn.[/quote]

It's just so good as early item, and makes the farming a lot easier. Againist ap laners (like elise when she was played as laner) i used to rush chalice then normal build.[/quote]
