thank you for your comment. It's true that Ingenious Hunter can be quite annoying for the enemies. In my opinion it's not as strong as Ultimate Hunter but it might be a matchup-related rune that balances mainly against certain enemies like Morgana well. I had tried it out in the past which is why it's in the alternativ runes section (below the mentioned most viable runes). :]
Cheers, Wicked Cherry.
I know I suggested the Domination rune in your guide. But here's another thing you can change from it.
Instead of Eyeball Collection, you can change it to Zombie Ward, since this rune became so useful. You will have a lot of vision control. Quite risky to go alone on a ward, but it transforms into Zombie Ward even if you stay next to it and the ADC attacks it.
Ghost Poro is a second choice tho.
These where my words. ^.^
the runes you mentioned are quite strong. However, if you're swapping Eyeball Collection with either of these, you'd miss out on quite a bit of AP damage. But I'll think about a Domination first tree build in which you might be able to pick the mentioned runes and see how that works. :)
Thanks for the suggestions.
Wicked Cherry.
Well, Electrocute is quite bad on Yuumi and only can be activated with her Ultimate. You can activate it with hits Q and some autos. But very risky and ends up with death.
Dark Harvest could be better.
2nd Cheap Shot
3rd Zombie Ward/ Ghost Poro/ Eyeball Collection
Last Ultimate Hunter, the others are useless.
As 2nd rune depends. I can make some if you want.
For example, you said yourself that Yuumi has one of the lowest healths in the game and explained that that's why Cut Down is so good, but in your primary rune page you don't take Cut Down. I think that that's definitely a must. And if you're taking Cut Down, you should get rid of those unnecessary health items like Liandry's, Rylai's and definitely Zeke's which I feel Yuumi will rarely get any use out of. Deathcap and Luden's are great AP items for Yuumi and grant no health increase.
Your guide is super detailed so I don't think you need 4 rune page setups in the cheat sheet just for the different secondary runes. Instead, I think you should include an Arcane Comet page which is also a fairly common keystone.
Finally I think Mejai's is pretty standard on Yuumi, much more than just an aggressive option, I think it deserves a spot in the example build/core, unless the game is a clear loss. Also I see that you recommend selling it later in the game but you should definitely not do that when you have high stacks late game as that is the whole point of the item. There's literally no better item to take up its slot in the late game.
thank you so much for your kind words.
You're certainly right about Cut Down and putting it as primary rune page. Once I find the time I will definitely change that. Liandry's Torment, Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Zeke's Convergence are mostly situational picks that can be good against certain matchups but they're not really items of choice. I haven't done a good job in tagging that, will also change that in the (hopefully near) future. Thanks for pointing that out.
I've been tinkering with the old Yuumi and Arcane Comet and it didn't feel as good as Summon Aery - probably because of the shield improvement. However, I didn't pick up Shurelya's back then which might work well with Arcane Comet. But I'll have to try that out first before I suggest it in my guide.
Selling Mejai's Soulstealer in late game was mostly for buying Rabadon's Deathcap or when you're losing suddenly for picking up some situational sustain items, such as Redemption or Locket of the Iron Solari. It's a bit difficult to explain since it's very situational but I'll make sure to be more clear about it. Of course, it would not be very clever to sell a fully stacked Mejai's.
Thanks again for the helpful suggestions and your kind words. And sorry for the late reply. I'll definitely change these three things soon. :]
All the best, Wicked Cherry.
thank you for your very kind words. :)
About your question.. That actually depends on a lot of things. For example the state of your game: Are you winning or losing or going equal? Is it early, mid or late game? Are you starting from the red or blue side of the map? Is Baron Nashor or Dragon soon up? Things like that.
Personally, I think it's important to keep in mind that just because a Control Ward helped you in a certain spot 5 minutes ago doesn't mean that it'll help you after that much longer. Repositioning your wards, including the pink one, is quite important. If there's objectives coming up soon, you will want vision dominance on that if possible or at least in some sneaky spot close to it. If you're trying to pick up enemies in their jungle, you will want that area warded. As you can see, it depends a lot on your team combo as well. It's quite hard to answer your question but generally, try to keep vision around objectives would be my advice. You can also change the positions of your wards and I'd strongly advice doing that.
I hope I could help you out a little bit. If there's any more open questions, feel free to ask. :]

This is probably what I'd be considering as a "decent" guide in terms of depth and quality. You've gone far with the gameplay stuff and it shows that time has been put into it and the basic info & formatting is mostly there. Other than some of the potential improvements I suggested in my review, I think the biggest goal here for your guide that I'd recommend to focus on is expanding the depth of information you have, especially for the Gameplay section. I am with 100% certainty sure that there are definitely more things that you can do in a game as a Support so I think bringing out that information to teach people more about the role will eventually let people evolve as a Yuumi player or as any other champion for the role.
I hope you find the review helpful and good luck with the guide!
thank you for your question. You're right, they're a good combo. Sadly I don't really find much time to update or improve my guides lately (taken aside minor things). Yuumi is pretty good with any tankyish and frontline CC champion. I'll add Nasus to my to do list for the synergies and try to work on that one as soon as I managed to find the time. I ultimately plan (or rather dream?) to have all champions in the synergy chapter, but when I started with it I was mainly focusing on synergies that caught my eye instantly and ADCs.
Thanks for your comment!

Here's the thing with Exhaust. The reduce damage does affect Zed mostly on his ultimate Death Mark. But here's a catch... Exhaust is useless against Pyke since the damage reduce does not affect him when your health is red and can be executed. His Ultimate turns instantly into Lethality damage instead of AD when executing you. The thing is that when Pyke succeded executing and there are allies right in the X area, he will not deal AD damage, Pyke will deal Lethality instead!!!
Meaning this, DO NOT TAKE EXHAUST AGAINST HIM!
Same thing is to Sylas when holding Pyke's Ultimate. Well, I'm not really sure about that. Since his ultimate against Lethality Ultimates are quite confusing. Mostly Pyke's Ultimate. I will try to investigate and give you the information when I find the answer.
Heal and Ignite are the best spells against him. I think you should add this information in your Exhaust topic. Is quite important for players that don't really know about Pyke.
Thanks for mentioning that matter. However, I'm already discussing this matter in the specific threats chapter in Pyke's spoiler in the spells category in which I'm also advising to take Heal and Ignite against him.
But I've just recently learned that Barrier is pretty useless against Pyke's ultimate Death from Below because it ignores all shields.
I won't add the information in my general spells chapter since it's a guide about Yuumi and not Pyke and I've already mentioned it in the section about Pyke. So I hope you'll understand my decision. Thanks for commenting and discussing this though. I'm sure your comment will help other players. :)
Cheers, Wicked Cherry.
Totally did not forgot that I was the one who said that you should take Heal against him a while ago. >.>
Can't escape me it seems.
In the updates chapter, you can code it as spoilers to make it not that big of a text. Some people will get their computers burned because their pc couldn't generate the text fast enough. Happened with my phone on my Pyke guide. xD
This is just an idea because soon, your updates chapter will be great for book full of 250 pages with text. 🐱
Again, just an idea. :3
thanks for the idea and inspiration. I didn't know such things could happen but you're right, the change log just seems to be growing. So it's probably best to put it into a spoiler. I'll do that. Thanks again!
Cheers, Wicked Cherry.
thank you for your comment!
I'm pretty sure you're not missing out. The Health Potions are mentioned mainly for newer or more aggressive Yuumi players. I usually last well to mid game with these potions. But Control Wards are pretty nice for early vision, especially if you're up against a Twitch or Evelynn jungle for instance.
So it actually depends on your play style and how satisfied you are with your general early game. I usually find that I'm making not enough gold in my early game, so I usually focus on aggressiveness which also exposes my cat to more (potential) damage because you don't want to rely on Prowling Projectile alone for poking early, especially when your mana drains so fast. Some comments ago, I was discussing that matter with someone and the player said that they even bought two Faerie Charms as first items. But you can also just buy a Control Ward and safe the rest of the gold for other items.
By any means, you're not 'less effecient' just because you're not in need of these two pots. :)
Hope your question is answered. Feel free to ask more and share your opinion. ♥

How do you feel about guardian on Yuumi? I personally feel like Guardian + font + secondwind + revitalize + manaflow + gathering storm is a great page for her
Also how do you feel about Relic Shield on Yuumi? I feel like I can reliably complete my quest faster with this item (I play alot of Lulu too, and I never take spellthiefs on her anymore)
Would Rapidfire cannon be troll for 5th/6th item? (more bop and block shield uptime)
Thank you so much for your very kind and warm words! :3
I'm sure Guardian and the other mentioned runes make sense on her if you're looking for more sustain. However, in my experience Yuumi's amount of health and hence is her health bar drained way too fast to make big use of Second Wind. But if it works well for you then by all means keep using it. :)
Personally, I like my cat a bit more aggressive. But of course that comes with some weaknesses as well - you're mainly lacking sustain for yourself. But then again.. Yuumi is more like a giving type of champion than a taker, if you like to think in that kind of concept. She's way better healing and peeling for others than to fend for herself. That's also one of the reasons why I even suggest Domination runes in my guide - well and because Zoomies scales with AP. :>
I haven't ever tried Rapid Firecannon to be fully honest, but I do not quite think that it would help you that much. Yuumi scales with AP mainly, even though you can build it if you have a fed AD to actually improve their stats even more. But I'm not quite sure I would recommend it. There's other items that may be more attractive to you (like Guinsoo's Rageblade for instance) than Rapid Firecannon. But if you really like that item and you find yourself in late game wondering which item to build as last one (definately last item if at all), I suppose it's not gonna hurt. But it probably comes down to which items you already got and how the match has evolved.
So I hope I could help you a bit.
Thanks again for commenting. ♥

- People have been having more success with no Flash than with it. Ideally you'd want to run something like Heal Ignite or Heal Exhaust (I've felt like Exhaust has been more impactful in my games) while your ADC takes either TP or Barrier, but since sometimes getting your ADC to change their summoner isn't an option I would run Ignite Exhaust as the standard and mention Heal as an alternative to be used when possible if you can convince your ADC to do without it.
- I feel like since Nimbus Cloak is so often wasted as you're attached while using your ult it Manaflow would be better.
- Font of Life is more common than Bone Plating since you're not too much at risk yourself.
- Athene's is a better first buy over Censer, I would switch the order.
- Most people prefer to take AP over CDR in rune stats and it seems to perform better.
- I would include Rylai's in her aggressive path, it has nutty synergy with her ultimate.
Hope this helps!
thank you for your suggestions. :)
About them..
Nimbus Cloak vs Manaflow Band: I think that Nimbus Cloak actually works super well with your ult because it enables you either the perfect lock down or a great escape. Of course it would mostly make sense to cast while you're not attached but I don't think being attached for like 80 per cent of the game wouldn't really fit the ideal play style. My opinion. Might be wrong. But I'm not a support who'd enjoy just sitting back and hit a button every now and then. Also, I somewhat tend to dislike runes that become somewhat useless throughout the game because after one or two items, like Athene's Unholy Grail and Ardent Censer, you most likely wouldn't be in need of additional mana. At least I'm usually not and if I was, it's just a really good time to possibly place any leftover wards and recall.
Ignite & Exhaust / Ignite & Heal: I do have Ignite & Exhaust as third recommandation and talk about these choices in the Summoner Spell chapter. However, I've been wanting to add Ignite & Heal as well, but I happened to forget. Meh brain. xD So thank you, I'll definitely pick up on that!
Font of Life vs Bone Plating: I think that's really up to one's play style. I like the additional healing more than the mark of Font of Life. Also, I mentioned that rune in the Alternative rune choices. :)
Athene's Unholy Grail over Ardent Censer: Yep that makes sense. I'll switch that around. Thanks
Rylai's Crystal Scepter: Right, added that one as well. :) It's definately pretty powerful.
Anyway, thank you for your feedback. ♥
As for the idea that Manaflow Band becomes useless over time, it is definitely not. Since you have no items that increase your mana pool, you have a small pool to work with and don't want to EVER run out of mana after a bunch of fights. Manaflow Band increases your pool significantly (relative to the pool that you will be playing with the majority of the game). Manaflow Band is about a 16% pool increase at lvl 18, and a 35% increase at lvl 9. Besides, you are spamming spells just as much early as late, and with a much more limited mana pool and lower regen, it helps you lane and snowball your ADC.
I would really suggest Manaflow Band as the main rune, and the Nimbus Cloak as a situational to help you with laning with an immobile ADC who can't break a lot of distance quickly (like Ashe or Kog'Maw)
thank your for stopping by and leaving a comment. :)
You're stating some quite valuable information there. However, I personally prefer Nimbus Cloak over Manaflow Band. But that's really my liking and up to my kind of playstyle.
I never said Manaflow Band will become useless. However I think it provides the best effect in early and probably mid game and falls over quite a bit in late. It's true that you don't really have items that increase your mana pool but you'll have a load of mana regeneration with Athene's Unholy Grail, Ardent Censer and Redemption. I also mention to build Lich Bane, Turbo Chemtank, Frozen Heart or Zeke's Convergence as situational items which would increase the mana pool. :)
But I'll make sure to add Manaflow Band in the rune section.
Thanks for pointing it out and your constructive feedback and thoughts.
Cheers, Wicked Cherry. :]
