Top Picks for Dominion

Though, mainly I stick the most recent ones bottom. Note: Also, please understand these are just how I felt on the respective champions. My word isn't universal, if you can do better - Sweet! [columns] [h3][color=#00ffff][u]Plain[/u][/color][/h3] [list] [*] [[Kog'Maw]][list] [*] Love his range with [[Bio-arcane barrage]] and [[Living Artillery]] [*] Hate his base movement speed... [*] [[Icathian Surprise]] is great for truly fighting to the very end [/list] [*] [[Heimerdinger]] [list] [*] Immovable in bot [*] But doesn't amount to much after that [/list] [*] [[Shaco]][list] [*] The AP jester is really fun, but only if you know what you're doing. [*] This might seem odd, but I like to take [[Revive]] on him. Taking 8/1/21 masteries for the Revive point, of course. ^^ [/list] [*] [[Poppy]][list] [*] Definitely AD > AP on Dominion [*] Really to [[Heroic Charge]] onto someone and smash away their health with [[Devastating Blow]] [*] Her small character model sometimes makes it hard to tell if I'm actually hitting my target. [/list] [/list] [nextcol][color=#2B2B2B]spaceholder[/color] [nextcol] [h3][color=#ff0000][u]Sour[/u][/color][/h3] [list] [*] [[Master Yi]][list] [*] He builds nice damage but I feel way too vulnerable playing him [*] One big problem is, to do well, you have to be patient and enter fights at the 'right moments' - Very frustrating to do in a fast-pace map like Dominion [/list] [*] [[Nocturne]][list] [*] Feels horribly slow when off [[Duskbringer]] [*] [[Paranoia]]'s long cooldown sucks and vision-reduction doesn't help at all. [/list] [*] [[Twisted Fate]][list] [*] Works better as AD on this map - Dislike [*] [[Destiny]] makes for fun ninja-caps and interrupts [*] Far too squishy. [/list] [*] [[Xin Zhao]][list] [*] Squishy, nerfed-cc, low mobility [*] Seen him played both on my team and the enemy, he's always bad unless extremely fed [*] I've seen others do well, maybe I'm just bad with him [/list] [*] [[Olaf]][list] [*] Same reasons as Xin: Bad cc, easy to kill, low mobility [*] Kit seems to suggest otherwise, but in Dominion - Its a failure [/list] [/list] [/columns] [columns] [h3][color=#00ff00][u]Sweet[/u][/color][/h3] [list][*] [[Ryze]][list] [*] Excellent sustained magical DPS [*] Requires intimate experience at abusing [[Arcane Mastery]] and kiting enemies with [[Rune Prison]], but if you know how, then boy can he amaze you. Still not sure yet. edit: New List. :3 [[Master Yi]], [[Kennen]], [[Heimerdinger]], [[Kog'Maw]], [[Gragas]] Tried Nidalee. Really hope they make [[Pounce]] match smartcast. I don't have the attention-span to always pay attention to which way I'm facing. Also remembering that I really like Gragas. ^_^ edit: Sept 1 today! New list: [[Gragas]], [[Nocturne]], [[Kog'Maw]], [[Heimerdinger]], [[Master Yi]] I tried Kennen this week, and I'm not so confident about how well I do with him. Nocturne has a much stronger early game then Master Yi, so I'm very looking forward to him. ^_^ Gragas is now on top, because [[Body Slam]] is just too good. Sept 23, updated list again: [[Master Yi]], [[Gragas]], [[Akali]], [[Kog'maw]] [[Nocturne]] Most notably, I took Heimerdinger off my list. I haven't been playing Heimerdinger much lately, and knowledge of Rioters working on him make me not too motivated to play him in his current state. I love his style on SR, but Dominion demands more action, little room for attrition plays. I'm really eager to try Master Yi. [[Highlander]] with [[Youmuu's Ghostblade]] and [[Ghost]] just make Yi seem like an extremely fun champion to play. Gragas still high on my list. Playing him will be a real guerrilla warfare style ordeal I think will be enjoyable. [[Barrel Roll]] then [[Body Slam]] away. :P I wasn't too sure about Akali at first. But Dominion is a perfect place for a snowball champion. Being my favorite assassin, she'll definitely be worth checking out. It really depends on how those first few fights go, I think... Kog'maw still on the list. Artillery offensive for the win! Nocturne still a likely pick. His non-[[duskbringer]]/[[paranoia]] mobility makes me feel less eager to try him. His is superior mobility is awfully restricted.[/h5][/quote]
