Xeno's Review and Matchup Shop

A matchup shop is a place where you submit your guide because you want someone to do a matchup section for it, and you are either too lazy, or you are not good at writing those. [h1]WHY MAKE A MATCHUP SHOP?[/h1] You see, I found out that I am a quite good armchair tactician, being able to think up of tons of different strategies, beut never apply them in the game as effectively as I would like to. A thing I found out I am exceptionally good at is countering champions. Give me a champion, an enemy champion, and I will be able to think up of a strategy to counter said enemy champion even if I never played either of those. There is another thing: Matchup sections take time. Some people are just too lazy or don't have the time to do them. I tend to have quite a lot of time at my diposal. You see how those two come together? You should. [h1]OK, WHY MAKE A REVIEW SHOP?[/h1] Because you can never have enough of those. Seriously, the more people offer themselves to the guide writers of Mobafire, the better. Besides, I believe I give out fairly constructive reviews. [h1]SO, HOW DOES THIS THING WORK?[/h1] It's simple, really. Just fill out one of these forms and either PM me with the filled form, post in on this very forum thread, or both, if you REALLY want to make sure. I rarely give out downvotes, and being a dick is an instant downvote from me. Limit yourself to one guide at a time. Summoner's Rift only, I might review a Dominion guide if it is really good, but Twisted Treeline is completely out of the question. English only. I know the... uhh... Serbo-Croatian family of languages and a bit of Russian, but I will limit myself to guides written in English because more people will understand them. All discussion besides the request should be in this thread (and most of the times, even that). It is so people can find out what can they expect out of me. If it REALLY bad, or you are a dick, you get a downvote. No matter how good your guide is, you will get criticism. Note, however, that it is easier to criticize bad guides instead of good ones, so the amount of criticism received should be inversely proportional to the quality of your guide. AS blues are secondary runes, and as such, have much smaller effects that primary runes like AS reds. Compare a [[Greater Mark of Alacrity]] and a [[Greater Glyph of Alacrity]]. The other runes are pretty much fine. [*] You can edit your masteries pre-game, and adjust them to their team composition, so, for example, if they are AD heavy, you can get rid of some points in [[Resistance]] and put them in a damage-reducing mastery. 1 or 2 points of damage may not seem like a lot, but it adds up in the early game. It's not that useful on a fast jungler like [[Skarner]], but you should at least mention that masteries can be edited like that. [*] As for items, it wouldn't be a bad idea to find a replacement for [[Trinity Force]] if the game is not going your way, because, as we all know, that thing is bloody expensive. Another good section would be one explaining why you [b]DON'T[/b] take certain items. [*] Videos are quite a nice touch, but the thing I [b]REALLY[/b] like are the ganking matchups. Also, it's millions, not milliones. Also, it's enter a teamfight, not enter teamfight. I know your pain, Serbian grammar and English grammar mix even worse than Polish grammar and English grammar. While I personally think [[heal]] is better for baiting in an idiotic enemy to a tower, the summoner spells are ok. [*] I [b]REALLY[/b] like your skills section. The pictures are a really nice touch. You should probably mention how [[Moonlight Cascade]] is great for harassment, and that you can also last hit a minion and harass at the same time with this. You only need to use a and an a lot more, that is the only real problem in this guide as far as grammar goes. You do its so much, I couldn't possibly correct every instance of that error within reasonable time. [*] Your items seem ok. Never played enough [[Diana]] to criticise this too well, but the make sense. [*] I pity the fool who jungles [[Master Yi]] with a lane [[Diana]] on his team. Good explanation on the teamfights and the early game, but you could use some other tips, like warding, mid and late game, more matchups, etc. Also, this part of the guide needs some aesthetic improvement, it just looks ugly. Find some good templates and use them. As for grammar, I have no idea what "Call you enemy jungler" means. Did you mean "Call your jungler"? Also, you wrote frist, when you needed first. [/list] So, conclusion. The guide is pretty good, but needs better grammar, some aesthetic imrovement, and more information on [[Diana]]'s gameplay. [[Diana]] is a complex champion, and you should try to help your guide viewers to play her properly as much as possible. If you need the magic resistance in the late game, why take the flat magic resistance runes instead of the scaling ones? [*] If you are going mid, why take flat armor seals? The only sustain they provide is against minions and junglers and the occasional rare AD mid. Also, consider using flat mana regen seals. [*] You should only use [[Mental Force]] if you last hit with your abilities often, or have abilities with an AP ratio over 100%.
