I feel people are forgetting the basic concepts of pushing lanes.

You generally WANT to push your lane so the enemy tower can deny your enemy.

You DON'T want to, however, because you don't want to get ganked.

But let's say, for example, the enemy jungler is at bot and you are at top. You are perfectly fine to push your lane to the enemy tower. The tower will force the enemy to miss cs. And even better, if the enemy laner isn't there, you can deny them a lot of xp.

Learning to freeze lanes is vital to success as a laner!


Also, another thing about towers.

You DON'T want early towers. You want to leave the enemy towers there to deny the enemy xp. Being proud of killing an enemy tower at 5 minutes is ******ed. Early game you cannot risk yourself to overextend, so basically you're just letting your enemy laner get free cs while you cannot. However, you WANT towers once early game ends and once your team is under pressure.

Shen - His harass was stupid, but manageable before. After the remake, not only did they buff his ability to trade damage, they buffed his ultimate, they buffed the sustain he has... Well, they buffed everything. Ki Strike is based on his attacks too now, his Q heal scales on his max health, his taunt is better, his shield is better. He's essentially a required ban now.

Ziggs - His laning phase is pretty decent, but what really shines is his late game. 1500 range 300 aoe poke on a cooldown of only a few seconds. Plus his ultimate has some major damage potential. just really annoying in general.

Heya, MobaFire :) I've been a little inactive lately in terms of community things, like commenting on guides and plaguing the forums other than Support. So I thought that I'd boost my activity levels, AND provide a genuine contribution to guide writers by actively scouting the free week champion guide.

So each rotation you will see a blog from me detailing which guide I have scouted for the free champions, and why. Hopefully this will help their guides gain some more views and show others what a scout may be looking for in a guides.
