Hello every, my name is Baird. I'm a midlane main that has a main champion pool of Zoe, Twisted Fate, and Yone. I flex Casseopia, Qiyana, and LeBlanc. I'm making this guide to help people learn Twisted Fate and start taking him into ranked. Twisted Fate is the perfect champion for solo queue and I think it would be beneficial for all players to pick him up. All builds, runes, and tips I give in this guide are things I actively use on this champion. I'm streaming often over on Twitch and post videos on Youtube so go check them out.

Don't let the opponent freeze on you. Twisted Fate is a great champion for manipulating the wave and setting up roams/ganks. Play around what the state of the game is and will be. Push when you plan on roaming or to set up a rift herald.

Aim >7 cs per minute. Twisted Fate passive makes farming great for scaling.

Don't be greedy in lane. Farm and scale up. Twisted Fate is not a champion that is meant to be 1v1ing. Set up ganks for your jungler.

Improve your macro awareness and game sense. This will greatly help you climb on this champion and is the main thing about him. As you improve this, your will winrate will increase.

Make sure that you sidelane, especially when your ult is up. You're getting farm and gold, while also putting pressure on the map. When a teamfight or skirmish breaks out, you can ult over and help your team/turn the fight. Make sure you're always looking at the map for the chance to do this.

Put simply, he is the perfect champion for solo queue. His R let's you easily roam and create map pressure. He is a championt that requires macro, and not mechanics. Mechanics take much longer to learn for a specific champion, so everything you've learned can be put into Twisted Fate.

His passive makes farming much for valuable. It's something you can always use as a crutch to scale and stay in the game. The extra gold he get's from his passive always let's him scale.

Pros:
+ Great roaming
+ Farming is even more beneficial
+ Great waveclear and pushing
+ Can be used for either damage or crowd control
+ Versatile builds

Cons:
- Bad matchups
- Weak 1v1, especially early game
- Can become a CC bot when behind
- Heavy reliance on macro/positioning

Your ult is useful for two things:
Roaming
Sidelane Control

You want your ult to almost be on cooldown. Always be using it to make plays. Whether this be roaming to help bot lane for kills, or keeping pressure in sidelanes before a fight.
