Threats & Synergies
Fairly easy matchup. Avoid his Q's edges. He might try to dash to hit it, you can simply W to block his dash. Pick up a Bramble Vest early and this matchup should be one of the easiest.
Skill matchup. You have to predict her dashes well and fight when she has her cooldowns off, especially her shroud.
As abusive as a lane gets. You do not want to fight him alone, as he will destroy you. You want to wait for a misplay or help your team in some other way. Consider taking Tabi's and Warden's Mail.
Average matchup, however her recent nerfs made it a relatively easy one. Her dashes are very telegraphed and not only can you block them with your W, she also needs a wall to do them, get the hint! However, you should never underestimate her Q2 damage, so fight with caution.
I don't have much experience of playing against her tbh. She can zone you off pretty well. You want to exploit her misplays.
Relatively tough matchup. He will always have more range than you. You should try to poke him with Grasp-Passive as much as you can, also Q when he is getting close. Dashing into him might be a death sentence if he plays correctly, always beware of his ult!
Bad matchup for Poppy. You simply will not defeat him early game, and you shouldn't even attempt it. Invest in a Bramble Vest and try to be more useful to your team in other ways. He scales off pretty poorly so use that to your advantage. Trade with him whenever he misses E, and dash into him when he tries to heal up with Q.
One of the worst matchups for Poppy. He will drain your life without realizing if you keep letting him get Qs on you. To add insult to injury, his passive makes it impossible for you to ever stun him, but you can attempt disabling his spellshield with an E (make sure you pick up the canister!!).
Skill matchup. A good Fiora will defeat an average Poppy and vice-versa. Try to avoid giving her free passive procs. And if she dashes in, make sure you trade back with her. Try to avoid using E as much as possible while her W is up, a good Fiora W can turn the worst fights around. When she ults you, try to escape using W, and if anything else fails, try to hug a wall and fight back. Prioritize buying armor over hp against her, especially Bramble Vest.
He will usually win lane simply due to his range and power projection. Try to break barrels with your passive, and when you all-in, a good idea is to push him out of any barrel range with your E (even if it doesn't stun). Buy armor.
He will destroy you early game. Trade with him whenever he wants to Q you, but beware of his Ignite + R combo that can deal a massive amount of True Damage. Avoid initiating fights when his abilities are up.
A hard lane for you, but you can win it if you play it properly. Avoid taking free damage from his autos and his Q. Trade with him whenever he is not enraged. When he is enraged he WILL defeat you, so wait out his enraged form.
You should win any trade with this guy, do not be afraid of fighting back with him. You also should try to predict his dash. Be careful as he may turn back fights if he ults you under his tower or to the enemy jungler. Always make sure to have river vision!
The freest of free LP. You completely counter him by simply existing. Block his dashes, stay behind minions, Q and Grasp-Passive him to death. Consider Tabi's and a Bramble Vest if he somehow beats you. Keep in mind that he cannot damage you through minions, while you still can deal almost half of his hp with a full combo while still being safe from his auto-attacks!
As long as you don't take the full damage from her Qs, you should be fine. Block her dashes and trade when her passive is not stacked. Dodge her ult or simply avoid fighting her unitl it runs out.
Very difficult laning phase. His turrets will absolutely melt you if you misplay. You must exploit any mispositioning of his. When you all-in, try to push him out of his turrets, either with E or a short (not tap) R.
She shouldn't be a problem simply because of how bad of a champion she is at the moment. If you can avoid her E (and you should, with all the mobility you have), you will have no problem fighting Illaoi. When she ults, simply run away.
She can be quite the nuisance, but you can defeat her even in lane by playing patiently. W when she tries to all in you, and potentially turn the fight around by stunning her into a wall and fighting her. Avoid fighting if she has full stacks, though. Pick up an early Bramble Vest and you should be all good.
It is almost impossible to lose this matchup. By W-ing his leap, you already counter most of his utility. If he tries to stun you, simply Q and W away, so he is both slowed and cannot leap. Trade blows with him as much as you want, he shouldn't ever be able to defeat you. Just beware if he is running Lethal Tempo, he might kill you very early into the game.
A fair matchup. He will try to poke you to death, but he won't succeed, because you took Second Wind!. If he goes into melee form and attempts to all-in, block his jump and you should have no problem of fighting this guy. Take care of how much poke damage you take, though. Show him who's got the bigger hammer!
She counters you simply by scaling way more than you could ever dream of. Be as aggressive as you can early game, when she is still a glorified cannon minion. Be present on the map and never, ever let her freeze. You want to end the game as fast as you can.
Not much to say about this matchup, you should simply not encounter any difficulties fighting Kled. Q whenever he gets too close and Grasp-Passive him until Skarl dies, then you can go ham on him.
