Not Updated For Current Season
This guide has not yet been updated for the current season. Please keep this in mind while reading. You can see the most recently updated guides on the browse guides page
Don't pick into them, you'll get kited and poked in any fight, and the nerf to their Q isn't going to help this matchup.
Jax
He'll snowball more than you, and most often win a 1v1. Bad matchup for you.
Volibear
This build melts tanks, but Volibear is no mere tank. You can still do well against him, but a good Voli will win a duel with you.
Lee Sin
It's Lee Sin so expect the usual from him. His early game is too strong for you to fight him, but once you build up some health and attack speed he shouldn't be able to burst you with an all-in or win a sustained fight.
Diana
Hard for your team to deal with, but easy to kill on your own terms.
Ekko
With all the Tank Ekko nerfs, Jungle Ekko will either get more or less popular, it's hard to tell. No matter what you should be able to deal with him as long as you try to block his E and passive with your W and watch fr his ultimate.
Hecarim
Fast horse is fast. Fast ninja can't catch fast horse. Fast ninja is sad.
Shaco
Annoying and sneaky, but very squishy and reliant on autos if he builds AD. Just try to keep an eye out for him, and get a sweeper or some pinks to help you take your buffs and watch your entrances.
Master Yi
Off-tank Yi will be able to hold his own against you, but if he builds full damage or attack speed you can pop your W and rip him a Q one.
Nocturne
Definitely annoying, and his fear can win him fights, but taunt him out of the channel and W his attacks and you should have it.
Amumu
Amumu tends to build more armor than mr, and you can shred him apart if he doesn't ult you and run.
Udyr
Press W and he does nothing, imagine that. He's still fast though.
Shen
Any other Shen is building tank, so you'll be able to drop them easy.
Gragas
Big, fat, and full of HP tasty HP for you to slice out.
Trundle
A good trundle will fuck you over the whole game and steal your buffs, a bad trundle will fail to counter-gank you 4/5 times and end up 2 levels behind.
Evelynn
She may be sneaky, but you can taunt her and slice her down to size.
Fiddlesticks
Stop his channels with your E and kill him in like .5 seconds.
Malphite
You either cut him down like butter, or he slows you and ults away.
Singed
Don't stand in the poison.
Elise
She can either be a bursty threat, or a tanky meal. Either way if you taunt her while she's in ranged form you shouldn't have a problem chunking her down.
Vi
She likes to punch, and you can stop that, but that doesn't mean you should go in and fight her.
Xin Zhao
Again, basic attack reliant, but he can still be problematic if he catches you off guard.
Maokai
About the same as Gragas. Both have a lot of health and can get that passive lucky heal to save themselves, but they'll more often than not try to bail from a fight with you.
Zac
Zac's pretty strong right now, but he isn't played often. Like Volibear he's actually got a chance to beat you in a sustained fight, and both their passives can prevent you from killing them.
Rammus
Let him taunt you. He might realize that armor doesn't help against your AP. Although Thornmail still hurts a bit.
Olaf
Olaf is strongest when his health drops low and he can auto attack you with that insane lifesteal. Except he can't do that when you hit W, so try to save it for the middle/end of a fight with him.
Rengar
If he seems like he's targeting you, get some tank early. Also try to predict his leaps from his ult and use your W to block them.
Kha'Zix
Unlike Rengar, Kha'zix isn't going to try to basic attack you, he'll just rip your health down with a combo, but he probably won't prioritize you.
Nidalee
Dodge her spears, and fuck her up if she gets close. There isn't much she can do to you once you get some tank in.
Skarner
If you manage to see someone playing Skarner, congratulations. If you manage to fight him outside of his jungle, congratulations again, because you just got a kill.
Warwick
Warwick is what Warwhick is waht Weedwick was which press R does
Malzahar
Malzahar junglers are very strong whether they build AD or AP, but AD relies near entirely on Voidlings to do damage, and your W does a good job of blocking that. Just watch for his passive and don't let an AP one full combo you.
Karthus
For those about to jungle with Karthas, we salute you. Also we're pretty sure we can kill you any time we want and counter your ult with ours that's on like 1/4 the cooldown.
Sion
Sion's both too slow and too weak to deal with you in a fight. Plus you can save yourself or your teammates from his passive with your W.
Teemo
Satan, and a source of everything that can tilt you. He can stop your basic attacks, slow and chunk you with mushrooms, and run away very quickly. If you see him as a jungler, you'll likely win the game, but if you see him top lane he'll probably ward you away.
Pantheon
His passive can be problematic, especially if he builds full damage, but unless he gets fed I don't see him standing in your way.
Pick primarily against Tanky teams. Q deals damage based on max HP, and more if you pull your spirit sword through the target. Can be built with AP or AD to fill out your team's needs. AP scales well with your Q and R, making your R much better for saving carries later on, and they will thank you for it.
With the replacement of Devourer with Bloodrazor, this build requires you to focus on completing other items before your jungle item most of the time. The on-hit buffing effect is now placed on Guinsoo's Rageblade meanin you need to invest 3600 gold on top of the 1000 cost jungle item. That is why I recommend starting the build with a different item.
This can work in the top lane, but it is still most efficient to build Nashor's Tooth or Blade of the Ruined King before Rageblade.
