Windspeaker's Blessing is the most effective because it does nothing for Aatrox, proving to the enemy team that he is so strong, he doesn't even need a keystone to win the game.

Max R first, then R second, and R last, leveling ultimate when possible. You won't need the knockup from Dark Flight since you'll be one shotting the enemy so CC is unnecessary. Blood Thirst / Blood Price is useless as well since sustain isn't neeeded because you won't be taking damage as anything that comes near you will be instantly slain. Do NOT level Blades of Torment under any circumstance. As you may or may not know, Blades of Torment is a triangular ability, linking it to the infamous illuminati, which we do NOT want to summon into the rift. If this does happen, however, you must proceed to DDOS all of your allies- wait you're playing Aatrox, you are your allies, oops- yourself, to prevent the illuminati's leader, Pepe, from stealing all the memes on your computer.

Rabadon's Purple Hat counters Leona as it shields the power of her sun beams. Buy this if the enemy's Leona is doing major damages to your health bar.

Wooglet's Purple Hat is great for if the enemy Leona is so strong that you need 2x the hats to protect your face from her sun.

Guardian Angel allows Aatrox to relive the old days, during which he had a built in Guardian Angel. Too bad the shopkeeper lost all of his money and had to nerf Aatrox so he would start buying more Guardian Angel's.

Aatrox's Face Mask is essential for games against Urgot. Without this, your damage output will be significantly decreased by Urgot's ugliness.

Aatrox is actually a distant relative of Azir, as evident in the presence of wings on his back. He does not use his feet since he can fly, so shoes are typically an unnecessary purchase. The only case where you would want to invest in a pair of boots is one in which there is a Taliyah on the enemy team. Her Unraveled Earth throws rocks at the floor and can cause serious damage to Aatrox's feet even if they aren't touching the ground.

Smite is useful for when you have a boosted jungler. Bring this if you do not believe in your jungler's objective securing skills, or if you just want to troll the enemy/your own jungler by stealing their buffs. lul.


Teleport is great for spooking the enemy during teamfights as you can use it in a 4v5 to make it seem like a 5th member is about to enter the battle. This, however, has many drawbacks as your own team may be deceived by this trick and fight thinking it is a 5v5.


Clarity is a must have! With this you will confuse your enemy, making them think you are trolling, but really you are just so skilled you don't even need a second summoner spell.

The word team is not actually a part of Aatrox's vocabulary; this is why you need to build for the 1v5. To do this, you'll want to squint very hard in order to see 5 Aatrox's - (i.e. ) After this, just play as usual and all 5 Aatrox's will move synchronously, making the 1v5 seem like an ordinary 5v5 game of League of Legends when you're really playing League of Aatrox.
