Introduction to Aatrox, The Darkin Blade

Hey everyone. Welcome to my very first build. This is the build that I just played and by the end of the game got myself my very first penta kill. Well as the title suggests, this is my introduction to Aatrox. Aatrox uses a few different styles of getting kills. One is through attack damage and the other is attack speed. Aatrox is meant to be able to withstand drawn out battles due to his Blood Thirst. With Blood Thirst, as you all may already know, gives Aatrox a boost in health every third attack. Through the use of his blood well, whenever he runs out of health, he becomes invulnerable and can't be targeted until he gets back up. To fill the blood well, all one has to do is use Dark Flight(Q), Blood Price(W), and Blades Of Torment(E). They take away health from Aatrox and fill up the blood well. When the blood well has health stored in it, Aatrox gets a bonus to his attack speed. That is what allows him to restore his own health when taking fatal damage. Aatrox's Q, Dark Flight, has (as far as I know) two uses. One is for dealing damage. And two, for getting out of a sticky situation. The same goes for his E, Blades Of Torment, as well. They can be used for both one, dealing damage, and two, getting away from an enemy whose faster than you are.

Skill Sequence Detailed Explaination

Here is an in-depth explanation on my choice for my ability upgrade sequence.
First and foremost I will always start out with my Blood Thirst and Blood Price. The reason for this, is to provide maximum durability in battle. When killing minions, there is always a champion there with those minions. whenever you start to farm those minions, that enemy champion is most likely going to attack you after they feel the time is right. So you use Blood Price(W) to deal extra magic damage to them to help secure a kill. And if you manage to kill them, you're most likely to have little to no health. So with Blood Thirst(W), you can just heal yourself. And as for Dark Flight(Q) and Blades Of Torment(E), just bounce back and forth between the two with the every occasional Massacre(R).

Summoner Spell Choices

I picked Ignite and Flash as my summoner spells because they have a really great synergy with Aatrox. Ignite is really useful for securing a kill when an enemy champion is really low health and they are about to kill you. And it is also great for securing kills on runaway champions with low health. Flash is actually quite obvious. its only really useful for getting away, but it can also be really great for catching that runaway champion with low health that you want to kill. For those just starting to play Aatrox and who are beginners with him, I would recommend using Heal and Flash.
