ELECTROCUTE

"Damage and early game pressure"

Cheap shot basically helps you one shot people by hitting and then dealing extra true damage with your auto.

This is my personal choice because I want some extra damage but and are also good options.

I take this because of how much movement speed you can get out of it.Combined with the other runes that I use at the sorcery tree it turns you into a FAST BOY and a roaming machine.

SORCERY

The 7% bonus movement speed from everything is CRAZY.You get movement speed from so many things.Your W ,your E ,your passive ,your boots ,relentless hunter and waterwalking Do you understand how useful this rune is for bard? ITS INSANE ! Roaming is a piece of cake with that much movement speed and your kit.

Waterwalking just helps you even more when roaming.I don't think I need to say anything else.

GUARDIAN

"Safety and peel"

Guardian is the best defensive rune for Bard.You can proc it fairly easily with your W and the bonus movement speed combined with your W's movement speed can help your allies get out of some really bad situations.You should pick this rune against Nautilus, Leona and other offensive supports like them.

Now this rune is quite useful itself but it doesn't have any great synergy with bard.The reason why I picked it is because it's just a better choice than Demolish and Shield Bash.

This rune helps you both in trades and in surviving engages.Overall a great defensive rune that a lot of champions take.

This rune both buffs your W and Guardian.I've survived/saved someone a lot of times thanks to this rune.

The same reason why I chose it in the electrocute build.It does quite some damage and is really easy to use as Bard .

Again, the same reason why I picked it in the Electrocute build.I chose both of these over Eyeball Collection because I think the damage it gives is not really useful in this build.

OMNISTONE

"Basically an off-tank"

This is my personal favourite rune for bard.I don't really know why but what I do know is that all runes can be useful for Bard.They either offer dmg(electrocute ,PTA ,hail of blades and many more) or utility(predator helps you roam,guardian helps you save allies,phase rush gives you movement speed in fights etc.)

This rune is broken lmao.It has saved me a lot of times and the other choices Magical footwear and Hexflash aren't that good for Bard so I just go with this one.

This rune is really underrated.It helps you build your core items faster and that is pretty important for Bard.I don't think I need to talk about minion dematerializer .And Bard has his W and passsive so he deosn't need biscuit delivery .

This rune is really good.Almost all champs that take the inspiration tree take it and the other choices, approach velocity and time warp tonic , are really situational and I don't think that they provide anything for Bard.

PRECISION

I think that the precision tree is the most fitting tree for Bard when taking Omnistone .There is no reason to take resolve since you don't want to be more tanky and I don't think that the sorcery tree and the movement speed runes you can get from it are needed for this build.Instead I chose this tree and took some more fight-focused runes since that's kind of the point of Omnistone Bard.Triumph is a really strong rune and it helps you survive in teamfights and I think it's the best rune in the precision tree.

The teancity this rune gives is great for Bard and since you roam you will be able to stack it easily.Also the other choices are more damage focused and I think that Omnistone Bard doesn't need any more damage.
