I got with him on mid Gameplay ez with 30k exp for some months to level 7, most of my matches where s or s+. Hes a weak Laner on start thats why its nice to improve the start power with your Wards a bit. Just play where your sure you will get it to 100%.

Play him save till level 4 - 7

May your able to kill someone that think he will alive 2 hits of your tripple combo can be but most times your the one that can laugh. So year, it may needs a bit time to get good with him, couse the laning start and to get a few minions on start is pretty good training and a bit luck too for starters. But when you got your first 40 ablity power just in time and your mana till level 6 you just can start to fk your opponent up and may get your first kill + farm enough and do it again. Somedays i get some guys i eat them on level 4 and again on level 6 and again and wow 900 gold extra. Thats good enough to gank bot. Kill there someone and buy the next item, to punish mymid laner again and to roam for jungler or toplaner xD. It can be pretty much fun.

If you gets feeded a bit you will be a monster by hunting. You will be able to kill even a renekton in his tower with your R :D. And thats the point of mastery of alistar where enemys say lets quit..

just learn to hit the minions and go for the cdr + get your combo for an ez Electiquz with E W + Q at same moment e is an aoe spell and count couse the spell holds on long enough. You double cc and then you r and do the same stuff again and that is enough to rape everybody.

For Lategames in teamfights you will be also very usefull your basic Combo deal up to 50-70% of an life and thats a crazy start for teamfights just use at late zhoynas and freeze then and do it again :D.
