Introduction

Gonna go ahead and start out by saying this is my first guide so forgive me if it does not look up to par or very graphic. I will attempt to make this as painless as possible for your eyes.

I honestly have not played many ranked games but soon will. I just started LoL not to long ago and am personally still learning the game as there is ALOT of information to keep up with.

Runes

MARKS- Providing Magic penetration early/late game without having to buy a Voidstaff.

SEALS- Flat mp5, let's face it. Late game if your having mana issues cause you aren't getting
the extra couple mp5 then you probably shouldn't be playing some one that requires mana upkeep.

GLYPHS- I choose Magic Resist per level, since it doesn't scale with any champion. Totally up the the player .

QUINTS- Flat AP Provide you with having ~ 35 ability power at the start of your lane and gives you the best opportunity to get a first blood.

Masteries

Typical 9/0/21, nothing to see here.

Items

If you down vote this because of Hextech Revolver I dare you to play this build(or yours) and see how much it increases your game play.

Start off by buying Amplifying Tome and one Health Potion.

Go back when you have enough to purchase your Boots and Hextech Revolver or Mejai's Soulstealer .. However the game is currently playing out at this point.

Leading into Sorcerer's Shoes and begin your Rod of Ages Start off with the respective item. Ruby Crystal if you feel you need it or vice versa with the Sapphire Crystal (I normally get the mana.)

Rod of Ages is the bread and butter of this build and yes it is a core item. Before buying Catalyst the Protector you WILL have mana problems. Once you have Rod of Ages it will no longer be a problem. This will allow you to keep up around the 20 minute mark.

Mid/Late game is approaching ~20-25 minutes you should have all of the above. If not then your probably not doing so hot. From here is where the hard item choices come.

If you find yourself victim to several AP users pick up a Abyssal Mask or Banshee's Veil. At the very least get a Negatron Cloak.

AD team would be the obvious get a Zhonya's Hourglass , At times I've been focused so hard I have Picked up a Thornmail And various hp items... At the very least get a Chain Vest .

If you find yourself beasting (which happens often) complete your Will of the Ancients and Speed up your Rabadon's Death Cap .

Item choices and why not others.

Hextech Revolver - There is a reason it got recently nerfed and is HUGELY overlooked. get this or die/b often. Annie can regain half her hp with one good tibbers drop. It is a requirement to stay in fights.

Sorcerer's Shoes - Magic Penetration

Void Staff - Heavy Magic Penetration

Zhonya's Hourglass - Heavy Armor. Two second invulnerability. Great for baiting ults.

Zhonyas/Banshees/Abyssal/Void Staff, all situational items. Use at your discretion.

Let's face it Rylai's Crystal Scepter should be left up to other people. If you find yourself chasing then you should be slapped in the face. Blow it up or turn around.

Skill Sequence

Level your skills Disintegrate , Incinerate , Disintegrate , Molten Shield . After this max your Disintegrate and Incinerate only. (Obviously getting your ult along the way) Disintegrate is the way you farm minions only get the kill shot so your not wasting much needed mana.

Annie needs to always have at least 3-5 stacks up of her passive or your playing her incorrectly. Try to maintain the passive by last hitting minions (therefore your not wasting mana again)

If your midding with Annie try to wear the other mid person down to about 60% life. I usually do this by last hitting 5 minons with Q and then hitting the other laner with Q (only when stun is primed) and followed with a W a melee attack also you can usually get in.

EARLY GAME : If they do not have a healing pot last hit 4-5 more minions. Stand a little closer the normal flash if necessary Disintegrate > Incinerate - (melee if possible) Ignite. They usually fall over.

MID GAME: Try and not be so obvious with the stacks, I personally like keeping 3-4 up. If your quick enough you can Q(4)>W(5)>R(stun)>Ignite>Q before stun even wears off.

By starting with Disintegrate and Incinerate you put them on their already short cooldowns but trust me. You kill pretty much anything as long as they sit at 60% health. If your having trouble killing some one at mid ask for a gank or size them up by dropping tibbers on them every chance you get as long as you have the lead. It WILL push them off and allow you to farm better.

Summoner Spells

Flash , Ignite : I feel these two spells are the best for my personal play style and go a long way.

Other choices: Exhaust and Ghost .

Don't really see any benefit of the other summoner skills.

Farming

You should only be last hitting minions with your Disintegrate early game. You can throw in the occasional Incinerate whenever the enemy champ gets pushed up and you have a stun loaded. It usually scares them off.

**EARLY GAME FARM IS IMPORTANT - ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR HEXTECH YOU CAN FARM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AS LONG AS YOUR Disintegrate 'ING MINONS**

Summary

All in all this is my first guide dedicated to the players/newbies/people wanting to touch up their skills with Annie.

This is not meant to be the SUPERB LEET ANNIE STRATS , but will give a new/mediocre skilled person the correct direction of where to go with this champion.

Never follow a build down to the T , Always I repeat ALWAYS build as to what the other team composition has.
