AP Ezreal is a hard character to play.

You may ask:

WHY THE F******CK ARE U PLAYING APC BOT???? U NOOB GET OUTTA HERE UR GUIDE SUCKS!!!!!

BUT... TELL TRY TELLING THAT TO ME AFTER U HIT 15+ KILLS EACH GAME U WILL GET MORE KILLS THAN THE AP CARRY IN MID.. (SOME SAD SH****T)

Ofcourse if you were good u wouldn't be reading this.

This guide is may look long but it is actually just broken down into very simple chapters. I suggest you read all of it.

Why AP Ezreal?

HE IS THE BEST. I fell in love with Ezreal while playing him for the first time.

BURST melts squishy with 3 hits (about 1700 damage)
QUICK escape
NOT farm dependent (If u suck at last hitting)
ULTI wins teamfights
FINISH squishies
BARON stealing a**hole
SLOWS opponents
RAPES off-tanks 2500-2800 health

BEST of all... COMPLETELY RAPES AD EZREAL
(Take my advice... AD vs AP Ezreal? AP Ezreal will win.) I'll include a little tidbit in the end about that.

AP Ezreal is harder to use than AD Ezreal but the rewards stack so much higher.

- AP Ezreal is not farm dependent
- AP Ezreal cannot kill blue without dying (Not that u can't but it takes kiting and luring and lots of losing health to do this.) Most importantly u lose time that isn't worth blue.
- Ezreal Q and W are like.. BUSH WARDS. (Explained in Early Game)

These are the most important parts to AP Ezreal:

How to start the game without getting destroyed.
How to pick what items to get first.
What situational items to pick from.
When to get Kages Lucky Pick.
What your hits sound like.
When to pick EZREAL in QUEUE

The thing about Ezreal is that he has no pushing capabilities or abilities to clear farm unless you want to waste ur ulti everytime to push.

Good choices of a lane partner can be ADCs

-Consider yourself a support character.
-You are not farm dependent because of your Kages Lucky Pick and the way he will be played. ( I will explain how to play AP Ezreal in team fights and how to keep up with gold.)
-AP Ezreal is very versatile and can parry against many champs however it is up to your lane partner how well you can counter the enemy team.
-ANY Squishy is easy to play against. (I will contradict this statement further down.)

Try not to play against

-TANKS in general. (Lots of MR u will not kill them)
-For whatever reason. Ezreal in general either AD or AP hates DARIUS JAYCE MISSFORTUNE!!!!!!! (Only because of her stupid rain of bullets or whatever )
-HATES NAUTILUS STUPID ULTI
-TRISTANA is hard to deal with because of her range. (LATE GAME MOSTLY)
-ANIVIA... Never ever play Ezreal against her.. YOU CANNOT WIN!!! (SHE'LL BE IN MID BUT IN TEAMFIGHTS U ARE USELESS.) DON'T PICK EZREAL. HER EGG WILL BE UNKILLABLE FOR AN AP EZREAL.
(Remember when I said AP Ezreal is too weak to get blue without dying?) ANIVIA IS A WALKING.. FLYING EGG SHAPED BARON FOR YOU XD

Laning:

Get Q

Q will be ur very first harass. HARASS AND DON'T MISS!!!!!!
Q into the enemy bush and check for enemies. The sound is very distinct and can .
Q only for champs or for the big bulky siege minion. Making sure u get that 41 GP is very important in Season 3.

Get E/W

W if u seem to get blocked by minions but u have the other hand.
E if u think ur taking too much damage from their ad carry.
Don't use E or W unless u have to or you are going for the kill, they both expend mana quickly.
Try not to W until ur second time backw hen u have ur Kages. (At this point u will have around 80 AP due to runes.)

FARM!!!!

At 765 GP you should go recall right away as you are now going to get your Kages Luck Pick for gold generation.

At 10 minutes you should get your Blasting Wand and Sheen

Blasting wand will take off quite a bit off off your opponents, but its not time to play aggressively just yet.

Sheen will make pushing ur lane easier with a bit of extra AD damage.

When you grab you GIANT FREAKING ROD...THIS IS NOW THE TIME TO:

-PRESS E TO FLASH IN. (MAKE SURE U ARE ONLY HITTING UR ENEMY CHAMP WITH IT RATHER THAN A MINION.)
-PRESS W TO ESSENCE FLUX.( TAKES OFF A CHUNK OF UR ENEMY ADC HEALTH. YES... THEY WILL FEAR YOU.)
-PRESS Q TO MYSTIC SHOT. (TAKES OFF MORE HEALTH.)
-DON'T PRESS ANYTHING NOW LOLOL U'LL AUTO ATTACK WITH LICH BANE BUFF OR SHEEN BUFF... (TAKES OFF A SCARIER CHUNK OF HEALTH. XD)

IF YOU HIT EVERYTHING ABOUT TWICE (Provided ur lane partner hits off a bit of health off your enemy or enemies)... TIME TO HADOUKEN!!!!! GAURENTEEs YOU THAT KILL.


At 12 minutes you should have PUSHED or LOST your tower.

I REPEAT LOST!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR TOWER!!!!!

YOUR MAIN JOB DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO GRAB THE BOT TOWER!!!!!!

YOU ARE GOLD INDEPENDANT AND YOU CAN KEEP UP WITHOUT FARMING. LET YOUR LANE PARTNER FARM UP WHILE YOU GO MID AND GET THE MID TOWER INSTEAD.

This will allow your partner to slowly farm up without pushing too far and getting ganked.

This will also allow you to get the mid turret which forces more teamfights.

By now you should have gotten your Rabadons after ganking mid getting a kill or two and getting the turret.

BY GETTING THE MID TURRET, MORE TEAM FIGHTS WILL OCCUR!!!!!

This is where AP Ezreal excels the most.

AP Ezreal is meant to burst down enemies.

REPEAT THE EWQ COMBO ENOUGH TIMES AND EVEN THE OFFTANKS WILL BE SCARED OF YOU.

THE MENTALITY THAT AP EZREAL BRINGS TO YOUR TEAM IS VERY IMPORTANT. BY BURSTING AND CHIPPING AWAY HEALTH. YOUR TEAM WILL (HOPEFULLY IF THEY AREN'T ******S) KNOW THAT THEY SHOULD ENGAGE IN A FIGHT TOGETHER.

AP EZREAL'S ULTI IS WHAT CHANGES EACH TEAM FIGHT. USE IT TO ENGAGE!!!!! BURST THEM BEFORE THE FIGHT!!!! AND HARASS!!!! YOU CAN PROBABLY POKE FOR A WHILE UNTIL UR TEAM EITHER GOES IN AND RAPES THE ENEMY TEAM OR YOU CAN HADOUKEN AGAIN!!!!!!!!

IT DOES NOT MATER WHETHER OR NOT YOU DIVE IN LIKE A BAWSE AND TRY TO GET THOSE KILLS

YOU.. FUNDAMENTALLY HAVE A BUILT IN CHASE... YOUR E.

Harass... Harass...

a) Enemy runs with low health... CHASE WITH EWQ COMBO!!!! THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY BECAUSE UR COOLDOWN FOR YOUR E IS SO LOW YOU WILL CHASE THEM DOWN WITH EASE.

b) YOU are getting chased after... EEEE THE F******CK OUTTA THERE BEFORE ANYTHING HAPPENS!!!!!
THIS IS WHY U HAVE YOUR AP MID TO STUN AND YOUR TANK TO SUCK UP DAMAGE!!! HIDE THE F****CK BEHIND UR ROW AND BURST AS THEY CHASE YOU.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN UR TANK OR WHOEVER GETS STUCK BEHIND???

LEAVE THAT DUMBA** MOTHAF***CKER BEHIND!!!!

YOUR BURSTS WILL SCARE THEM OFF MORE THAN THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO YOU!!!

WIN YOUR FIGHTS BY PLAYING PATIENTLY AND BURSTING THERE IS NO RUSH TO DROP UR OPPONENTS HP THEY WILL NOT PUSH TOO HARD WITHOUT DYING.

THEIR CARRIES WILL BE SCARED TO COME AFTER YOU... AND TANKS ARE SLOW PUSHERS.

BUFF YOUR TEAMATES ATTACK SPEED WITH W AS MUCH AS YOU CAN

I can't stress that enough, your buff on your team mates will easily take out towers and change the direction of a teamfight.

FARM & PUSH
(AP Ezreal's HADOUKEN will clear waves of farm for you.)

INITIATE
(BURST DOWN THE CARRIES and have everyone rush in for quick work of them.)

FINISH
(GET THAT DUDE THAT'S RUNNING AWAY!!!)

BARON STEAL
(Steal Baron... Make sure u troll the other team afterwards LOLOL TRY THROWING IT WHEN BARON IS DOWN TO 900 FROM... spawns... Should land ur team the BARON)

CHECK FOR BARON
(No wards? NO PROBLEM!!! Can save ur team from getting ganked by baronning enemies)

HADOUKEN WHEN U WIN!!!!
