once he get his ult it's best not to let him keep poking you with Q he will just keep doing that until he get the perfect time to ult you
mid to late game is best to build heavy damage on him shredding his armor is the best if he build heavy armor

if you are a swift play warrior facing another darius is often to see
it's more like who get the passive first
i recommend spear of shojin as the first item to do more damage

the good olaf player can win against you in a 1v1 in early game
best to only poke with Q before heading to a complete 1v1 and do not waste your E if he ult it's best to stack and hope for the best keep damaging him and use your E once his ult is down
better to not always fight him with his ult far from your turret if you not confident enough against him going back to your turret will help you waste his ult so you win next fight

my fav matchup do not fight him level 1 if he have W

they mostly use ignite which is a cherry ontop with his combo poking him is the best until you have his hp drain fighting him straight on you will eat his stacked W fully
also there is a way to kill him when he fully stacked his W and you have your passive on if your damage is strong you can use this combo on him
E + R can prevent him from using his W and you can ult him not allowing him to use it

a challenging matchup duo to him don't always need to recall in early you win if you punish him off the wave having spear of shojin or black cleaver help you with him duo to him having high health armor just don't take his whole combo it will deal damage on you and can always wait for their jungle to come so keep in check

this match is almost a 1v2 him with his maiden and his minions you can always punish him from the wave in early game preventing him gold and making him not far from gold and lvl from you but if you couldn't do that the only best thing is to NOT GET TRAPPED IN HIS W that's a free kill or huge damage to yorick duo to you need to either hit the W and waste time and he damage you alot or try to hit him your Q will not hit him if the yorick player is smart he will just dodge it and hit you more
