Why hello there fine people of the MobiFire community. Today I bring you my first build of hopefully many. First of all, Caitlyn, why of all people did I start playing Caitlyn. To be brutally honest, I bought Caitlyn because she looked like Mad Moxxi from Borderlands. Probably would of been a stupid thing to do if she hadn't been so awesome with the best voice acting in the game! I feel that I can help people who have only just began their time on League Of Legends, which I suppose is one of the main reasons I'm making this build! So lets get to it shall we?

The items you build are very much reliant on who you are laning against. If you against someone like Darius or Master Yi you need to build some health or armour for example Warmog's Armor or Thornmail. This will allow you to take hits from them and use 90 Caliber Net to escape in time. If you laning against someone who's very reliant on AP like Veigar or Fizz your going to want to take a Spirit Visage. I would recommend to take up one of these items instead of your Statikk Shiv, but it is up to you! The core build I have chosen is a very well known one apart from one item, the Statikk Shiv, which is by far one of the most underrated items in the game! Statikk Shiv is very useful for Caitlyn especially due to the chain effect on the Auto-Attacks, it allows her to farm effectively and quickly without the hassle of targeting each individual target. Also the Statikk Shiv's attack speed increase is a very good thing to have with Caitlyn due to her passive. Finally on the Statikk Shiv the movement speed increase is a great help to get to places quickly because even with boots it will still take a fair few seconds to get to places.

Piltover Peacemaker is an awesome harass ability and I recommend you use it to harass as much as possible, it's range should keep you at a safe distance unless your laning and someone with high ranged skill shots, such as Nidalee or Varus. You can use Ace in the Hole to get other champions away from towers from a distance if your roaming because they will most likely panic just because it's an Ulti, it's also a great way of getting kills from champions that are low who have used Flash, as it does a fair amount of damage and has a nice range and doesn't involve any skill shotting due to it being a lock on. I don't use 90 Caliber Net much in combat but use it tons when escaping from a gank or to catch up to a fleeing enemy, I use it as a tool more then anything but it can be used effectively to help your team get kills if there's a fast moving fleeing enemy such as Teemo or Poppy who have speed increasing abilities. Yordle Snap Trap is one of my favourite abilities in the game never mind for Caitlyn, it is an awesome way to start team fights as the range is great and the trap is set very quickly meaning you can have a 5v4 for a few seconds which could be the difference between winning or losing. All in all I reccomend alternating between Piltover Peacemaker and other abilities.

For the spells I choose the basic Flash and Ignite for the main spells. But I also recommend using Teleport if you going to be roaming a lot and want to gank, Teleport is a must have if your ganking etc as it can send you to any placeable item (This includes Teemos Noxious Trap and similar Abilities)

Farming with Caitlyn is very, very important! Allow support to damage farm before you take it, and then in late game when you have Runaan's Hurricane and Statikk Shiv you'll be able to take out farm in seconds (Although you probably won't need to).

Caitlyn relies on Teamwork a fair amount due to her not being able to solo more then one person unless she is very fed! I try to stick around at least one person unless your backdooring / Sneak-Pushing, this means you can most likely take out 2 or 3 people depending on how fed your partner. Placing Yordle Snap Trap's in jungles can insure that Junglers aren't having their buffs stolen by the enemy team and can also catch a kill if the enemy is on low enough health.
