Hello everybody this is koksei!
The guide is not about Dominion nor Twisted Tree Line it just deals with 5v5 Summonersrift - RANKED based. (Laning phase)!
This is my second guide and it deals with Caitlyn

Positive & Negative Aspects
+ Huge range! (650) Outranges almost any other hero.
+ Great Passive
+ Amazing damage in earlygame thanks to Piltover Peacemaker
+ Stun( Yordle Snap Trap), selfknockback-slow ( 90 Caliber Net)
+ Yordle Snap Trap can ensure lane if placed correctly!
- Very squishy
- Not that easy to learn the correct mix from passive & active playstyle
I go for:
Even if you got your 90 Caliber Net you cant always
escape with it Flash is just a must have!
To slow down your enemys and make them weaker, great against
any other adcarry or apcarry!
Other viable Summoner Spells:
To get some extra movementspeed to run away or to chase down your enemys!
You dont lose time farming on the lane with it or get faster to ganks.
Other Summoner Spells you could take:
Its not that viable but its still quite good with her, you can use it
to get enemys who escaped with low life with your ultimate!
Because you are longranged you wont be always in range to use it
and I think Ignite just isnt that useful in late game.
You shouldnt get the other Summoner Spells - they are ********. :)
Runes & Masteries
Greater Mark of Lethality
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Scaling Mana Regeneration
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed
Marks: Greater Mark of Desolation
The´ll give you a huge advantage in earlygame!
It also benefits your Piltover Peacemaker and Ace in the Hole :)
Seals: Greater Seal of Armor
For extra defense! You´ll have to fight against a AD-Carry-Supporterlane for sure
so some extra armor will guard you against damage.
Glyphs: Greater Glyph of Scaling Mana Regeneration
Caitlyn runs out of mana quite fast in earlygame, so those runes
will help you to maintain some mana.
Quintessences: Greater Quintessence of Switfness
Caitlyn needs great mobility (to chase down enemys with her Piltover Peacemaker or get in range with her R & of course to run) I think those runes fit her the most!
Marks: Greater Mark of Attack Damage & Greater Mark of Attack Speed
Seals: Greater Seal of Vitality & Greater Seal of Evasion
Glyphs: Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction & Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
Quintessences: Greater Quintessence of Desolation & Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
And here are the Masteries :)
There you got 21/0/9
With Exhaust improvement and all offensive spells.
Because Caitlyn needs so much mana youreally should go for this make up!
Boots of Speed
The Black Cleaver
Youmay wonder why I go for Phage & later Frozenmallet .. its just that Caitlyn is damn squishy and Phage & later on Mallet grant damage, life & the passive slow so its REALLY useful.
Moreover you may say that Caitlyn is long ranged so you just have to stay farer away, but you CANT always avoid getting focused because they will focus you because YOU ARE THE AD-CARRY.
AND the slow of mallet is just awesome. <3
Caitlyn got great AD-Scale on her R (the highest with Dragon Rage from Lee Sin - 2,0) so if you go for those items you have about 350 damage + your armorpenetration. With this huge amount of damage you can get escaped enemy casters,supports, or ad carrys with ease.
I wouldnt they these are the perfect items or anything but they are quite awesome :)
Mercury's Treads Get them if your enemy`s got much disable/slow.
Boots of Swiftness You already got Greater Quintessence of Switfness and I prefer ATK-Speed :)
Other viable & neutral items:
Madred's Bloodrazor If you are facing some fat Tanks.
Tiamat Not that bad if you just face lowlife opponents.
Banshee's Veil Get it if your enemys got to much disable!
Last Whisper Good against armor-stacking guys.
Youmuu's Ghostblade Grants movementspeed, crit and armorpenetration all in all a good choice.
Sword of the Occult Keep your distance from it if you arent confident with Caitlyn
Sword of the Divine If you are facing Jax or other dodging enemys its a great choice.
Items you shouldnt get:
Zeke's Harbinger Because of your longrange you wont be in range for your team to get the aura!
Trinity Force You possibly could get it, it`s not that bad but Caitlyn normally isn`t spamming a skillshot every two seconds. So there are better choices for this amount of money.
Manamune Yeah if you spam your skills you`ll run out of mana quite fast, I played a whole time with Manamune it`s not that bad either, but you just dont need this much Mana.
As you can see the items at "You shouldn`t get" are still useful but you shouldn`t go for it - there are more viable items.
Skills & Skill Sequence
Quite a longrange! Great AD-Scale
Just Awesome to deceive your enemy`s or ensure your lane
Great to get away or to chase down
Awesome RANGE! Very high AD-Scale <3
Use bushes to get this awesome passive faster
I go for Yordle Snap Trap on lvl 1 tosecure the jungler and the lane its a great advantage and the jungler can jungle in ease :) you should also place 1 trap at the ghosts to secure his ghosts against counter jungling. The traps are quite awesome but the snaretime stays the same and it goes on AP which you dont have so you should max your 90 Caliber Net before this awesome Yordle Snap Trap.
The skill you should always max after this is Piltover Peacemaker it got great damage in earlygame.
Your 90 Caliber Net skill is quite usefull it slows down enemys but/and knocks you back at the same time you can shoot yourself away to escape ganks. You can also shoot over some cliffs and so on. Its one of those skills with which you can deceive your enemys and make fun of them :) to get lower cooldown on this awesome skill I max it secondly.
Laning phase & Teamwork
If you`ll play ranked you will be on botlane along with a Supporter.
You should try to lasthit all minions to get some nice farm! Always try to use all of your Yordle Snap Trap - three.
You should place one in every side-bush and 1 in the bush of the river or at the bush between drag and golems. Always try to harass your enemy champion and if he gets low use your Headshot & Piltover Peacemaker skill to kill him off.
If you enemy champion walks into one of your traps always shoot at him with your Piltover Peacemaker and your lane partner, (Taric or Alistair would be best) should try to damage him aswell.
While teamfights try to use your Yordle Snap Trap at keypoints to disturb the flow of your opponents engage.
You should try to focus on their carries to take them down as fast as possible :). Use your longrange and think about the positioning - so dont just butt in keep your distance! You could use your ulti after you backed off because you got low life to assist your team or to pick up a kill. If you can take down an opponent who got away with low life you should always kill him off!
Caitlyn is a great AD-Carry and you should make use of her passive its just awesome! Try to shoot from bushes in teamfights so you get 2 stacks every shot!
She got a slow, nice traps to disrupt the opponents, e.g. while jungling & while engaging!
And you can take down escaped enemys as well.
