This version and build of kassadin will net you the most damage and most 1 shot potential without having to wait forever to scale. You do not build ROA at all because that item sucks early and takes way too long to scale.

By Rushing Archangels Staff and Lich Bane, it gives you a massive damage powerspike extremely early which allows you to 1 shot almost any squishy early. You'll be more useful earlier on.

Kassadin's laning phase is pretty weak due to him being a melee champion.

If you're in an easy matchup, look to poke and harrass and go for solo kills, as Electrocute + Ignite gives you loads of damage.

If you dont think you can easily kill your opponent, look to shove the wave and roam.

Best time to roam is after 6, where your ult gives you insane mobility.

If you're roaming on level 6, check the sidelanes. Is bot or top low, or pushed up? If the answer to any of these is yes, you can usually rush over there and pick up a quick kill or two. This will help you snowball fast and let you 1v9 the game if your laner isnt letting you kill them.

Always be sure to watch out for the enemy jungler and check to see what your mid laner does after you begin to roam.

After laning phase, look to make picks around the map and take objectives:

With your Archangels + Boots + Lich Bane completed, you should have enough damage to obliterate almost anyone in your path.

Your goal is to funnel yourself as many kills as possible to snowball super hard to the point where you can almost 1v5 or 1v5 and win the game without your team.

Check sidelanes for any splitpushers and assassinate them quickly using your ultimate to gap close.


If there arent many lanes to go to to get kills, you can just settle for shoving in sidelanes then looking to regroup with your team, as Kassadin has great waveclear.

NEVER jump in first into a teamfight unless you have zhonyas. If you try to ult into 1v5 you will instantly die.

Your best option is to flank the enemy backline from behind or catch out someone out of position, or wait for your team to engage with cc so you can follow up.

Another option is to bait the enemy team to focus you by jumping in then zhonyas while your team is nearby to clean up.


Stacking your riftwalk before a fight can allow you to ult into a target, dealing maximum damage.

Once you hit lvl 16 your ult cd and mana will make you practically unstoppable.

Add Ignite If Needed to Finish them off


E + AA + W + Q

Standard Pre-6 Combo. Start with your E to slow them, letting you close in for an auto attack reset W. You can choose to open or finish with Q.

R + E + AA + W + Q

Post 6, use this combo to 1 shot targets at higher HP

R + Flash

You can Flash mid R animation, which extends the distance that your R travels. This means that after flashing, your R damage will stick onto your target and travel further. Great for taking out enemies that you cant reach with just your R.

R + AA + W + Q

If you can stick onto an enemy with just your R, this combo will burst them down faster. Good if your target isnt full HP or you dont have your E up yet.
