(Tri Force)-A very controversial item is the Trinity Force. I like this item a lot it gives him every thing he needs except resistances. Yes it is not much health but it does help especially early to mid game. And the mana is very nice to have because you need to spam your spells to keep doing damage and keep your mana up not being oom. Now the Ad is quite obvious why it is needed,it scaled with all your abilities.

(Wriggles Lantern)- Wriggle's Lantern Is a great item for Darius top so you have sustain,damage,armor, and a free ward. And for only being 1,600gold it is well worth it for cost. Now if you want late game you could sell it for Bloodthirster but you will be getting rid of the armor and ward(which could be used at baron). I personally keep Wriggle's Lantern but its your choice.

(Mercury's Tread)- mercury's tread These are best boots for a solo top person to have in my opinion but if you are completely dominating the game you could get Berserker's Greaves
to get more Hemorrhage stacks faster,but mercury's tread are still better.

(Maw of Malmortius)- Maw of Malmortius This a great item for ad bruisers it gives you base ad and mr while also a shield of 400 magic damage and more damage when your health is lower. I say Maw of Malmortius is needed item for Darius tanky or not.

Hey guys this is my first build on mobafire so I hope you guys like it. If you have any comments or question post a message below. I personally like building Darius more damage than tanky because it wrecks. I will keep updating and add more to this build in the future. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

-I like to take armpen reds because it helps out all game and especially laning phase. The other reds I would take are to help early game.

- The only yellows I would take arebecause it is always nice to have armor, and since most tops are ad it will give you some resistances.

-These are only blues I would take because it is also good to have resistances against everyone on there team. You could take per level but I rather have flat for early game resistances.

I take a 9/21/0 masteries build. While getting all ad masteries in the offensive tree and getting 21 in the defensive tree. You need the MR and Armor obviously. And taking the health per level and hp regen. is really helpful early game. Taking the movespeed in my mind is quite critical so you can move around the map to gank if needed or to just run around your lane opponent. While taking the CDR ones will help harassing and fighting your lane opponent. And the rest of the masteries are pretty self-explanatory.

-Passive gives you movespeed
-Your Q has a big range
-Alot of fun to play
-Can shut down the opponents top laner

-Cons
-Some what mana hungry
-Weak cap closer
-Targeted a lot of the time in Time fights

I like to takeand personally. I like to take exhaust because it can give you first blood or helps in 1v1s/teamfights. Ignite to give you even more damage and dots.

Other options-
-Is also a good option to escape from ganks or staying alive.

-Another one is I don't like flash anymore since the nerf because of the range and CD but you could take it if you would like.

Take Boots so you will have around 389 movespeed with just lvl1 boots. And also take 3 Health Potion to have sustain. Your first back you should atleast get Vampiric Scepter and [cloth armor]] ,and a sight ward. I would say try to go for a wriggles-lantern But if you run out of Health Potions and are low on health just back, and don't risk getting killed. Also you don't have to buy more and more wards.

Next go for Phage for health and some ad. But because you have your movespeed masteries and runes you wont need to rush level 2 boots. Also the passive is nice to have to secure kills or slow down your opponent for a gank. Try to get this is one back or at least get Ruby Crystal first.


-Boots-
-If they have a balanced or ap heavy team take some Mercury's Treads
-Or if they ad heavy get a Ninja Tabi and with your wriggles you will have nice armor. I don't recommend any getting other boots because they would not benefit you not as much.

-Damage
- Trinity Force I would always get a Trinity Force because all the stats and benefits you get from it,and you will do Tons of Damage.

- Black Clever Black Cleaver Is another good item to get if you want more damage. It gives ad which is always good to have also giving you attack speed which will let you get more Hemorrhage stacks. And lowering there armor with each so you lower there armor and add a Hemorrhage stack with each auto-attack.


- Maw of Malmortius Maw of Malmortius I believe this item is necessary on Darius no matter how you build him. The flat ad it gives is quite beneficial and well help a lot. The MR it gives nice as well but not only does it give AD and MR it also give you a shield when your health drops below 30%. Now it my not sound very good but it most likely will save a lot from little DOTs.

- Bloodthirster Bloodthirster Is also nice to have but I prefer Wriggles because it also gives you armor and a free ward. But if you want you could sell wriggles lantern late game and get Bloodthirster. But remember you are losing armor and the free ward,how ever if you are doing very well you could go Bloodthirster for the damage.

-Damage

- Youmuu's Ghostblade I have seen some people build Youmuu's Ghostblade this on Darius but I don't think it is needed when you can lower there armor with the blackcleaver. Also his Cd's aren't that bad but it is a nice item to buy. I'm going to test on this item in the future.

- Wit's End Not completely a damage item but the extra damage from the passive really would add up with your Hemorrhage and Black Cleaver's passive. I only take this item if they have a heavy ap team and I need alittle more damage.

- Infinity Edge Infinity Edge Could be quite good with the crit chance from it and tri force. I would substitute this item for either black cleaver if they dont have armor. Or for Guardian Angel if you aren't dying.
