To simply state it, She needs Greater Mark of Precision, -- You may ask yourself, Why? Well here's why, They have
Magic Penetration
, and
Armor Penetration
, Why the armor pen needed? Well because in-between your Ravage, and Hate Spike, you are hitting the enemy with basic attacks(proc'd by Sheen/ Lich Bane so you want that little extra boost. They are also useful to have for other champs ( Warwick, Akali, Nidalee, Kog'Maw, etc.) As for seals, this is not jungle eve, so I take the Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration they basically even out with the Greater seal of replenishment at about level 5-6 I believe. The mp5 is great on her, especially towards mid-late game, i find myself almost NEVER running out of mana. As for glyphs, This is your choice, Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction, Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction, or Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist.-- I find no other glyphs really suitable unless you want more AP, in which Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power would be your answer, BUT I personally find the Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction the most useful. The CDR is important on your Shadow Walk, especially when trying to get away from enemies. Also on your Ravage(your main damage dealer). Quint's, I use Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed, A quick eve is a "better chance at escaping and not getting whacked eve/catch up and kill fleeing enemy eve". Self explanatory there.
I start with Doran's Shield for one reason, Ability to stay in the lane and farm farm farm!. Has a lil armor, some HP, and of course HP/5. Some prefer to start with Boots and Health Potion's, or a Doran's Ring i find that not nearly as suitable to my needs as Doran's Shield. I try to farm enough for my Mobility Boots(a must on eve--goes great with Agony's Embrace). then working on enough for Sheen, starting with the Sapphire Crystal first Amplified Tome last. Once you have your Mobility Boots, (These are self explanatory on eve, speed is needed for map mobility and escaping.) and Sheen, you can begin ganking the proc on this is just awesome after you burst them down with Ravage. ALSO i like to point out the Elixirs. WHENEVER you can once you have boots and sheen done and have 250 gold, I grab a Elixir of Brilliance,(the ap and CDR) is great.. Also late game, Elixir of Fortitude for the obvious reasons(HP, Extra damage for your AA, Then I usually am off to gank/farm enough gold to get a Needlessly Large Rod, then Blasting Wand, (you can buy Blasting Wand first, its up to you, Needlessly Large Rod first imo) Then you can get your Rabadon's Deathcap, About this time, If you feel the boosts from Doran's Shield Feel free to sell it and get a little extra gold. After this I usually finish off my Sheen into a Lich Bane, The proc, movement speed, mana, AP, MR, All great things for eve.**New note thanks to "SkunkyBud1" -- If feeling squishy -- Make a Rylai's Crystal Scepter starting with Giant's Belt(the slow is awesome, I've sometimes grabbed this before finishing my Sheen into Lich Bane, It also aids in champs who try to escape because of the slow on ability use. After that if the game is still going - If you find yourself against alot of AD - feel free to grab a Zhonya's Hour glass, You should be about done with the game by then. **I wanted to add also that some people like to get Trinity Force, If that is your cup of tea, drink it, For my AP build, I find Lich Bane MUCH more useful. And I've Tried Both...**
TO simply sum this up, Hate Spike Is a GREAT farming tool --When used correctly, you can easily "last hit" 2 minions at once, Doubling the gold input, and has basically NO cooldown (.8sec). When you have your Mobility Boots You can walk around avoiding enemies shots most of the time, getting your last hit. She is also decently quick at getting buffs once you have your Sheen. Just Shadow Walk, run up Ravage, then hatespike, AutoAttack, hatespike, and Ravage when you can, I usually have red or blue buff's done in about 10-15 seconds MAX mid game, and late game even quicker.
I ALWAYS start off with Shadow Walk(you can check the bushes, also helps with first blood seeing it gives you a slow upon hitting a enemy). After that, Upon level 2, 1 point in Ravage, lvl 3- 1 point in Hate Spike(hate spike is great for double slowing and farming). From there on is marked in the above skill sequence at the top of the page. Her ult, Agony's Embrace is great when used correctly. When you get a kill/assist, It automatically resets the cooldown and is able to be used again, It is ALSO great for taking down towers quick, fast and in a hurry. I notice that most first hits on towers do about 400-700 dmg from the Sheen, Lich Bane proc. And after that she just keeps kicking that tower down, I use my Hate Spike or Shadow Walk to proc Sheen or Lich Bane again to get that extra damage to the tower. Summoner spells are simple, Flash/ Ignite. For this build I see no other summoner spells to help me out NEARLY as much as these do.
In the beginning you don't really want to engage in fights, because of how squishy and low dmg she is at first. After later in the game, feel free to challenge other squishy chars. Shadow Walk/ Ravage/ Hate Spike+AA -- always try to position yourself so if another teammate is struggling on catching an opponent you can slow them and do some damage, Ignite em and such finish them off. -- DON'T TRY TAKING DOWN TANKS OR CRAZY FED CHARS AT FULL HEALTH BY YOURSELF UNLESS YOUR POSITIVE YOU CAN TAKE THEM.
