WHY SHOULD YOU PICK EVELYNN?

Evelynn is one of the best if not the best assassin in the game, and her Demon Shade gives her camouflage post 6th level. She is primarily an assassin, but also can be played as AP bruiser, considering her low cooldown on Hate Spike.
Evelynn is not really good ganker pre 6th level, Evelynn doesn't want to spam gank like Xin Zhao for example and opts into power farming into 6level to get her access to Last Caress earlier, you usually get it after 2 and a half full clears, around 6th-7th minute into the game.

I hope you will enjoy reading the guide as much as I enjoyed making it, and even more important, that you will learn something out of it! Also, I would be more than happy to answer all of your questions, so don't hesitate to ask!
Good luck with one shooting ADC's in soloQ!
There is a short video of mine that will hopefully make you laugh but also make you want to play some Evelynn.
Abilities

EVELYNN- AGONY'S EMBRACE

Melee, Assassin, Mage, Jungler
Role: Assassin
Difficulty: High
Speciality: Oneshots
Within the dark seams of Runeterra, the demon Evelynn searches for her next victim. She lures in prey with the voluptuous façade of a human female, but once a person succumbs to her charms, Evelynn's true form is unleashed. She then subjects her victim to unspeakable torment, gratifying herself with their pain. To the demon, these liaisons are innocent flings. To the rest of Runeterra, they are ghoulish tales of lust gone awry and horrific reminders of the cost of wanton desire.

PASSIVE
Demon Shade

Evelynn gains Demon Shade after being out of combat for 4 seconds. Damage from enemy champions puts Demon Shade on a 1.5 second cooldown.

Demon Shade: While below 250 - 590 (based on level) (+250% of ability power) health, Evelynn restores 15 - 50 (based on level) health every second. From level 6 onward, Demon Shade also grants camouflage.

Q
Hate Spike

First Cast: Evelynn flourishes her lashers, launching a dart in the target direction, dealing 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 (+30% of ability power) magic damage to the first enemy hit.

For the next 4 seconds, the enemy hit takes 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+25% of ability power) bonus magic damage from her next 3 basic attacks or abilities.

Hate Spike may be re-activated up to 3 times until the ability comes off cooldown at no cost.

Second Cast: Evelynn projects a line of spikes in the direction of her attack target, dealing 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 (+30% of ability power) magic damage to all enemies struck. Hate Spike will prioritize the nearest enemy if she does not have an attack target.
W
Allure

Evelynn curses the target champion or monster for 5 seconds.

Evelynn's next basic attack or ability against the accursed slows them by 65% for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds, as well as refunding Allure's mana cost if she triggers this before 2.5 seconds.

If the target is cursed for at least 2.5 seconds, she charms the target for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds instead, as well as applying additional effects based on the target type.

Against champions reduces their magic resistance by 25% for 4 seconds. Against monsters, the charm's duration is increased by 2 seconds and they take 250 / 300 / 350 / 400 / 450 (+60% of ability power) bonus magic damage.

E
Whiplash

Evelynn whips the target enemy with her lashers, dealing 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 (+ 3% (+ 1.5% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health) magic damage, applying on-hit effects, and gaining 30% bonus movement speed for 2 seconds. The percent health ratio deals a minimum of 25 damage.

Gaining Demon Shade resets Whiplash's cooldown and empowers the next cast.

Empowered Whiplash: Evelynn dashes toward the target enemy, dealing 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 (+ 4% (+ 2.5% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health) magic damage as well as damaging all enemies she passes through. On-hit effects are only applied to her target. Evelynn also gains 30% bonus movement speed for 2 seconds.
R
Last Caress

Evelynn becomes untargetable as she reveals her true form to all enemies in front of her, before blinking back 400 units.

Enemies caught in her reveal are devastated, taking 125 / 250 / 375 (+75% of ability power) magic damage, which is increased by 140% versus enemies below 30% of their maximum health.

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: Pretty standard spell to take on most champions and Evelynn is not exception. Besides that you can use you flash in late game to do Hate Spike -> Flash -> Hate Spike -> Whiplash -> Last Caress, for some really fast oneshots.

SMITE: You are the jungler, so obviously you should take smite. As for the upgrade, I prefer Hailblade it allows you to stick on the opponent for additional Hate Spike's and also adds more damage to your one-shots. In Baron/Dragon smite fights you shouldn't ever lose as Evelynn considering that you can do 2000 damage with Last Caress+ Smite combo.

Electrocute gives Evelynn additional burst damage in her oneshots, and it's just overall good rune on all of assassins, you can easily proc it with your Hate Spike + Whiplash combo in early game already. One thing to notice and remember that multiple casts of Hate Spike's can proc Electrocute so in some rare situations you will be able to hit enemy with just Hate Spike's and it will proc Electro.

Dark Harvest can be used instead of Electrocute Personally, I always take Electrocute. Problem with Dark Harvest is that you as Evelynn don't want to fight early, so you will have low ammount of stacks in mid game, and damage from Dark Harvest will be smaller than from Electrocute.

Electrocute

Huge burst in all in
More damage than low stacks Dark Harvest
Higher oneshot potential

Dark harvest

Can deal more damage if you have a lot of stacks
Cooldown reset can be easily activated, considering Evelynn's oneshot potential
Can be used more times in one fight

Sudden Impact is best rune choice for Evelynn in this tier, it's proc'ed by leaving camouflage from Demon Shade, besides that both other choices are bad are can't be reliable used especially considering you are a jungler.

Eyeball Collection
at max stacks gives you 30 AP, which is insane amount for Evelynn considering her AP scalings and burst potential. Zombie Ward is bad considering that you don't want to kill enemy wards and that you always go Farsight Alteration over Oracle Lens.

Relentless Hunter
seems to be the best rune out of any in this row, you don't want Ravenous Hunter because of your passive healing from Demon Shade and considering that you are a jungler. I used Ultimate Hunter in few matches and I concluded that even if feels nice in some situations you won't always be spamming your ultimate off cooldown, so Relentless Hunter gives you a lot of mobility and it's most constant.

Magical Footwear is best rune choice here, it gives you nice spike around 10th minute into the game, and saves you 300 gold, besides that additional 10 movement speed actually can be valuable especially when you add Relentless Hunter and Mejai's Soulstealer passives to it.

Future's Market is rune that I picked up recently and find a lot of success with her. Paired with Magical Footwear you save/gain around 600 free gold in mid game(which is 2 kills worth of gold) which allows you to power farm into mythic and get your Hextech Rocketbelt earlier than you would usually do.

As Evelynn you usually want to start on your bot side, not just because of the better leash but also because it's really hard to gank bot lane as Evelynn, especially in first 5 levels, while on top side you can force some dives early if you have strong/winning topside matchups and strong champions overall like Renekton, Jayce, Irelia, etc...

I like to use smites on Krugs and Red Brambleback if I'm RED SIDE or Krugs and Gromp if I'm BLUE SIDE.

Blue Start

Blue sentinel
Gromp Smite!
Murk wolves
Raptors
Red Brambleback
Krugs Smite!
Rift Scuttler
Recall into buying Dark Seal and Amplifying Tome
After recalling you want to go to Gromp and do the same clear again for level 6 at the Krugs .

Red start

Red Brambleback

Blue sentinel

Hextech Rocketbelt is by far best mythic item for Evelynn only other option that you can argue for is Night Harvester, but mythic passive of Hextech Rocketbelt is much more valuable than cooldown reduction that you get from Night Harvester. Also Rocketbelt allows you to use Hate Spike -> Hextech Rocketbelt -> Hate Spike -> Whiplash -> Last Caress combo much easier.
Hextech Rocketbelt can also proc Electrocute and can allow you stick on your target to use additional casts of Hate Spike's on them.

Mejai's Soulstealer is really good item for Evelynn, considering how easy it's for her to stack it reliably in any match. Her burst potential is super good with Mejai's and her Last Caress is making her super slippery and gives her easy escape so you can save your stacks. After 10 stacks you gain bonus movement speed which additionaly helps you to clear jungle faster but also to move trough map much faster.

Rabadon's Deathcap is great item for Evelynn just because it ramp up her damage for so much, just it's passive gives you around 150 AP as soon as you buy it. Also it makes every stack of Mejai's Soulstealer grant you 7 instead of 5 AP which is also good interaction.

Banshee's Veil as item is insane for Evelynn, because it grans her passive shield, which is preventing enemies such as Twisted Fate, Leona, Nautilus, Maokai to point and click you and basicly force you to use your Last Caress or even Flash, this item will make your oneshots more clean, and escapes much easier.

Void Staff is only item besides Sorcerer's Shoes with magic pen that I buy. I don't like Oblivion Orb on Evelynn, so buying this item is must in late game, especially if enemies builds a lot of magic ressist.
I like to skip Banshee's Veil if I can(if they don't have point-and-click CC) and rush into Void Staff if enemies stacks early magic resist.

Sorcerer's Shoes is NOT only boots choice for Evelynn, depending on enemy compositions (if they are full AD/AP) you can build Ninja Tabi/ Mercury's Treads. I like to skip upgrading Sorcerer's Shoes in early game, and get my core items as soon as possible.
So staying on Magical Footwear and buying Rabadon's Deathcap and Mejai's Soulstealer is totally fine, and something that I will recommend you doing.

"There is no way Evelynn has any combos or anything to show skill on the champion, she just one-shots me in 1 second" - wise last words of not that wise ADC main.

Jokes aside, even though Evelynn usually uses Hate Spike+ Whiplash+ Last Caress to kill enemies, there are instances that you are not able to do that because of many reasons.

This is the easiest combo on the Evelynn and one that you will probably use the most, it's really simple and the point of using it is to one-shot squishes in under 1 second.
As you can see, in this combo you don't use Allure considering it's charge time, most of the squishy champions start running away from you, and this combo is much better when champions are walking into you, so they will have really little time to react.
Although you don't often use Allure there is times when would you cast it when you are behind the enemies so they will start running away from your base/team but will run into you and allow you to proc it's charm with Hate Spike or even Whiplash.
In super late game, if you are ahead you won't even need Last Caress, but combination of Hate Spike+ Whiplash will be enough to one-shot carries.

Similar to the first combo, the point is still to one-shot carries while you are being camouflaged by Demon Shade. The difference is the obvious addition of using Flash after casting the first part of Hate Spike.
Why and when to use it?
Obviously, this combo will cost you a flash so the reward must be high enough. I'm using this combo in two different situations, first one is in mid-game if there is fed enemy carry that is squishy and can be one-shot by this combo, just to pick up the bounty.
The other situation I use this combo in is late game scenarios where death timers are really long and picks with this combo can allow you to finish the game or to take 5v4 fights on baron/elder drake.

"So you are just ulting first for fun and griefing your game?"

Well not really, you use this combo when you are chasing an opponent from far away. Allure range is really insane so you cast it from miles away then using your Last Caress backward so it places you near an enemy that you are chasing and then you can hit your Hate Spike following with Whiplash.
Be aware of the fact that you are using your Last Caress as a gap closer and not as a damage source, so don't do this if you are not sure that you can kill an enemy with just Hate Spike and Whiplash.

This combo is really good when you are chasing an enemy down, you want to cast your Hate Spike, and while the projectile is flying you want to use Allure on that enemy before Hate Spike hits him.
WHY? With this combo you get an instant slow on your target from a range of Hate Spike so it's easier to get on them with Whiplash and end their whole career with Last Caress.
