Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello, and welcome to my AD Ezreal Guide!
This is my first guide on Mobafire so please be nice :)
Pros / Cons
- Exellent dmg
- Great escape
- Extremely good to beat down those tanks (as long as you're not focused) :P
- Epic skillshot ulti
- Good everywhere (any lane)
- Epic attack speed later on (+ = Epic win)
- Extremely squishy
- Vulnerable to CC
- Stealthed champs are your enemies
- Can be difficult to master
I can't tell you how many times flash has saved my *** as Ezreal.
Ignite is very useful to get the little extra dmg for a kill or to stop those stealthers going into stealth
Also viable summoner spells
- Can be used after you out of combat and then you run away.
- Useful if a melee champs targets you (Masteri Yi, Trynd, Xin Zhao etc.) also a generally good spell if you want to make distance to an enemy champs or beat him down without taking to much damage.
Summoner Spells not to get
- Useless after about level 9, you are to squishy to make use of it later on
- Let a tank pick this.
- Please, just don't.
- Useless late game
- You're not a jungler.
Greater Mark of Desolation
For the red runes (Mark) I run full Armor Pen. The extra armor pen is truly worth it if you face a tank/tough character.
For the yellow runes (Seals) I run with mana regen. Extra mana regen really helps Ezreal out.
For the blue runes (Glyphs) I run with CDR per level More pewpew mid/end game.
Skills and Skill Sequence
The first skill you max out, your main damage ability. All your CDs get reduced by 1 sec if it hits an enemy unit.
The last skill you max out, only reason to use this as AD Ezreal is for it's debuff (lowering enemies attack speed)
The 2nd skill you max out. Low CD, free flash/blink. Can jump over alot of walls
Good damage even as AD Ezreal, long ranged sniping skill. Useful to finish of those who try to run away. Can be used to clear minion waves, pushing towers. Relatively short cooldown (Expecially with
Pick up your Dorans Blade and go to a lane or the middle.
You should try to stay back harrashing enemy champs with and try to last hit minions with that skill aswell.
Recall when you got 1350 gold to buy and . Then stay in lane to try to farm for and . When you picked up those 2 items get ready for mid game!
During the mid game it's important that you manage to farm up to
by either staying in lane or ganking/jungling. If your team calls out about low enemy champs you can try to snipe them with your ultimate .
1v1 and you.
Ezreal is a beast 1v1 as long as you do it right. As long as you use to stay the hell away from the melees or to get out of for example Veigar's stun you can beat down most champs 1v1. If they try to run away while at low HP, try to finish them with if it's off CD
As late game starts you should try to finish your build, getting the two last items
Never initiate with Ezreal, you are simply to squishy, let your tank initiate.
You can start off with casting your to get 5 stacks of your passive as the battle begins. Never into the fight unless you know it's safe.
You should be standing at a safe range spamming and auto attacking their carriers to death (Or their tank if you see the opportunity).
If you seems to get focused, just out and stay the hell away until they stopped chasing you/Died due to getting killed by your teammates.
I start off with Dorans Blade Dorans Blade , the extra HP/dmg and life drain helps you stay longer in lane as long as you play careful. Recall at 1350 gold to buy Tear of the Goddess
and Boots of Speed
For the next item I either get Manamune or Berserker's Greaves depending on how much gold I manage to farm. And now we're off to get Trinity Force , starting off with Sheen . After Trinity force I'm getting Madred's Bloodrazor . A truely amazing item to beat down those tanks. The next item is The Black Cleaver I end off with Frozen Mallet . The extra HP and the slow really helps me out (You can however pick up the Frozen Mallet before The Black Cleaver if you wish)
No mana = No escape (unless you got Flash)
Last hit minions
Stay at safe range from battles
I can't guaranity flawless games due to Ezreal's squishyness, but if you play smart you may manage to do it :)
Feedback is greatly appriciated!
Good luck and have fun!
