Introduction
Greater Mark of Desolation Talon is a AD character, do not see any other good marks for him.
His early game health is terrible, so i use these. You can replace them with if you want that armor edge
For that late game mage resist. I love these runes, they are my pref but i have seen some people use instead
Greater Quintessence of Desolation are my Quints of choice, it adds a lot to his burst damage. Some who lack some survivability will use

Exhaust is great on him, especially when they just got out of your
good for chasing down that one enemy
This is just my preference. He already has an escape technically, but only if an enemy is near him. CC is a weakness of his so, i take flash.
Other Useful Summoner Spells
Not what I recommend, but go ahead and use it. Not a terrible summoner spell, gets you out of those sticky situations if you are CC'd
I dont use this, because i get enough speed from my items, but still very useful if its your play-style.

I start with this for the extra Health, Life Steal and Damage. Nice to keep him in a lane without porting as much.
I pick these boots because i love the attack speed, and with his passive mercy it works nice when grinding someone down.
I start with this next because most people start getting a little armor by 3 item, if not, this still is a great start for your killing.
This item will make you hurt a lot more, time this before an auto-attack with Noxisn Diplomacy and you will hit someone hard.
I get this next because i like the attack speed and movement speed. You can get if you want instead.
Now here is the interesting part, instead of building I actually get...
I like the money and it builds up to This is just my play-style
Next in line and Talon really starts to deal out great damage with this, loving the movement, plus and effects. Works great with Talon
is the next item i get, since you rely on Talon's auto-attack a lot, i use this item and it seems to work really well. Especially when you are ganking or chasing. While building it though, i try to get first for the attack speed.
Self explained, with still going, you should be able to get this item fairly quick, the extra attack and life steal for some minnion heals works well with Talon in my experience.
Finally you can build this item, you can choose to get this before your Bloodthirster if you wish, this is just the order i get.
6th Item
You will notice that at the top i didnt put a 6th item. Well here is why, i always find the 6th slot with Talon to be game dependent. Sometimes i build up somewhat of a defense or magic resist. Or throw in another attack buff. I will list some that i have used and was successful with.
Heavy AP Teams
Descent magic resist, plus movement speed and a boost to your health regeneration. Worth a try.
Have yet to encounter a guide that hasnt recommended this great item. The health, mana and the shield are worth the cash.
Descent Magic resist and a free cleanse, dont see it used often but a seriously good item if you are lacking a lot of cash.
Heavy AD Teams
Good armor, some good mana and cool downs. Great with slowing enemy attack, good against carries so Talon can get close without suffering too much damage.
Great armor and a fantastic passive. This has saved me from a few close combat champions and i was able to turn the fight around in my favor.
Attack Items
I love this item a lot, sometimes i just have a hard time finding a place for it. The health, passive and damage is definately nice though.
Another great item, the crit and damage are nice, especially along with the passive, making his auto-attacks while chasing, a lot more dangerous.
nice attack speed and damage, plus a killer passive that works well with Talon, clearing their defenses to kill Carries/Mages faster or to help take down a tank.

mercy
cutthroat
When Ganking I jump in from the bushes or with E-AutoAttack-W-R-Auto-Q-Auto
Team Fights I usually start with using my W to hit as many champs as i can with a slow, then pick out the squishy target, usually a carry or a mage, then use E-AutoAttack-R-Q-Autoattack, making sure to get those auto attacks in because of Trinity Force plus his passive also, doing more damage while a champ is effected with his W or E.
