Thank you for the imput, however, you only looked at one build. The second build is what I am running with now, the first is just the historical.

Oh, and by the way, you say the survivability is low? I have never had much of an issue with it, and almost always end up positive, by large amounts more often then not, unless stuck with a troll partner...

Teleport is not that viable with Fizz, plus Surge is sort of, but your runes are crazy. No survivability, no power, just speed. That's dumb, you may be able to attack fast, but it gives you no power. Change that -.-
I also agree with everyone else :)
If you just have attack speed early game even with the AP early game, which is about 20, you won't be that powerful, no magic pen. Your survivability chance is very low and you can't only think about one move. W is surely a burst move on fizz, but I'm just saying, at least add some armor early game to the build, even magic resistance will help.

@MissMaw:

It is a Classic game, the starting item is an Amplifying Tome, which costs only 435 gold (which gives you the ability to buy one pot as well if you so desire.) As for the escape, your own built in skills assist. With your passive, you do not have to worry about minions or other champs getting in your way to get out, and with a slow built into your ult and a quick get away with Playful / Trickster, things such as Flash (especially with its recent nerf....) and Ghost are really not necessary or helpful.

@Nighthawk:

Surge actually works really well for Fizz, as it boosts his AP and AS, both of which help him tremedously (Remember, active Seastone Trident deals damage on your basic attacks based off of AP, so you deal additional damage faster). While the numbers are not high, every little bit can help, and it can put you to almost 700 AP for 12 seconds, with an extra 35% increase in AS.

As for Teleport, I personally never go into a fight without it. It cannot be beat as far as map control goes, as you can quickly jump into a fight on a different lane, instead of having to run there. For example, say you are on the bottom lane, and a team fight breaks out on top lane. As soon as you have friendly minions close, Teleport onto one of them (or even on a friendly tower if they are close by), and in 8 seconds, you are in the middle of the fight, tipping the scales in your teams favor. In addition, it is invaluable in the harassing phase, as you can recall to buy, heal, whatever, and jump right back out and into the fight.

As for the runes, this is what i run with now, I do not have a whole lot, and am working on getting more. Armor, MR, and penetrations are all good alternatives.

As far as the RoA/Rylai's, I personally prefer Rod of Ages due to the passives that boosts its stats past Rylai's Crystal Scepter. And while the slow on Rylai's is nice, it is completely not necessary on Fizz, as he all ready has two slows, both better than what Rylai's would provide (especially as all but one of his abilities are multi-target, and the one remaining is damage over time, so all of them would apply the 15% slow.) However, that said, I do not know if the slows would stack. If they do, then it would definitely be useful, however, the loss of the huge mana boost could be a problem.

As you say, with the Lich Bane, it can massively increase your DPS. As for the late-game of getting the item, you can get Sheen earlier, in fact I would recommend it. Just exactly where would be up to you and when the game needs it.

As for BR, there really is not any room for it, as its stats are horrible for an AP/AS build, and while it is great for anti-health, it just does not compute in well for Fizz in this build.

Missmaw is correct, this is a weird *** build :P

Surge + Tele is totally not viable, you need flash or ghost (or both) and Surge isn't that great on Fizz anyways.

Second thing is dem runes, you already get AS from your items so you really don't need more then AS Marks and Quints, and would be much better served getting armor and mr respectively.

Masteries I suppose are ok, but I would rather get 21/0/9 by your reckoning, can't do sustained dps without some MS.

Another thing is that building a RoA at that point in the game is just useless and I would much rather just get a Rylai's or move onto my next item. Not entirely sure that building a Lichbane that late is bad either, but you should def include that you should build Sheen early, because it will def increase your dps by a ton.

Ah btw, why no bloodrazor?

hmmmm.. is this a dominion guide?
if not there are a lot of problems with the items.
and if it a dominion guide, there's no teleport in dominion, but if it's classic you have Surge and Teleport which aren't escape spells, which means ganking will be critical on you. If it's classic your starter item can't be Hextech Revolver, because you only get 475 gold at he begining, and it costs 1200 gold. i'll give you more feedback when you tell me if it's a dominion or classic guide. O.o

I love this build. Hehe these are the items I wish I could put in my build but I cant because I'd be downvoted too much. These are awesome public game items but they dont really work in ranked. Gj though, nice layout. +1
