Hey guys, I made this guide because I wanna show you how wonderful Galio is. I don't know why he don't get played often. My Elo is 1400 and I have 100% winrate. I know that u will play much better with him if u saw this guide. Soooo nothing to say now I gonna start ^^

Pros

- Funny to Play
- Ulti very nice under your Tower or in Teamfights
- Very nice AD for a champion, who plays just on AP
- Nice slow
- In teamfights he can get much life with his "W"
- Very useful in teamfights



Cons :

- Get focused a lot in teamfights
- Get often ganked from jungler in Ranked because he hasn't much life in early and no chance to escape
- High mana costs

The best Runes u can have are magic resist runes, because Galio can't be killed 1v1 vs other AP champions because of the runes, items and Galio's passive. ( 50% AP per Magic resist )
That means :


10 Magic resistance = 5 AP
50 Magic resistance = 25 AP
100 Magic resistance = 50 AP
200 Magic resistance = 100 AP

and so on...

NOW ATTENTION

I took 9/9/12 Masteries Because :
Offense :
I will get some Mana on beginning and 10% Magic Penetration that's very useful for Galio.

Defense
I get 30 Life and Magic resistance so I have at beginning better chance for First blood.

Utility This is very useful because Galio hasn't got much Mana at beginning so he has more Mana regen.

WHY I HAVE THESE ITEMS [/u]

No discussion that are the best shoes for Galio
because of his passive.



Catalyst the Protector I prefer this item because the midfight on lane is easier when u have this item early, because u will get much Life and Mana on every Level up.


I like this item soo much it saved me more than 50 times for being dead.
Example : Karthus Makes his Ulti and u don't have much Life.


will save your Life. :)



Galio hasn't much many Health or Armor, that's why I prefer
this Item.



Fore of Nature is a MUST HAVE for Galio because it gives you a lot of Magic resistance (76) and because of your passive you will get 38 AP. + Health Regen.


This is a MUST HAVE too, because Galio gets very often focused.


Is nice too, you will get AP , Magic resistance, AS so it's a nice allround item for Galio

It's the most important skill from Galio because it makes the most Damage ( more than ) ! With this Skill you can get much creeps and you are a nice counter for example for LeBlanc or Lux]


I don't need this Skill, in my opinion this Skill is TOTALLY useless. Yes, if you wanna kill the enemy and the enemy's creep kills are attacking you, then it is nice. But in 5v5 or something else it's totally useless, because you don't know who of your team gets focused so you don't know on which champion you can make it.


NEVER up this Skill first ! You have to up you resoolute smite first !!! It has a nice range and nice damage but your Q is much better ^___^

I prefer to Clarity and NOT !!! because Galio hasn't such a range in mid lane to Ignite some1, how?
Galio needs much Mana so that's why I love clarity.

Flash is very nice to start a teamfight in combo with your
you flash yourself into the others' team and make your Ulti. So you get Focused and the other can attack the enemies. That's a very nice combo if you have !!! :)

Useless for Chaster. ! :>

teleportation is nice if you have a Teemo in your team because of his mushrooms, but if not it's a bit mad. Alternative you have many wards on Map.
