Introduction

Well, now that I've presented

I also think I should tell you that this is my first guide
Even amongst yordles, Rumble was always the runt of the litter. As such, he was used to being bullied. In order to survive, he had to be scrappier and more resourceful than his peers. He developed a quick temper and a reputation for getting even, no matter who crossed him. This made him something of a loner, but he didn’t mind. He liked to tinker, preferring the company of gadgets, and he could usually be found rummaging through the junkyard. He showed great potential as a mechanic. His teachers recommended him for enrollment at the Yordle Academy of Science and Progress in Piltover, where he may very well have become one of Heimerdinger's esteemed protégés, but Rumble refused to go. He believed that Heimerdinger and his associates were "sellouts", trading superior yordle technology to humans for nothing more than a pat on the head while yordles remained the butt of their jokes.
When a group of human graduates from the Yordle Academy sailed to Bandle City to visit the place where their mentor was born and raised, Rumble couldn’t resist the temptation to see them face-to-face (so to speak). He only intended to get a good look at the humans, but four hours and several choice words later, he returned home bruised and bloodied with an earful about how he was an embarrassment to "enlightened" yordles like Heimerdinger. The next morning he left Bandle City without a word, and wasn’t seen again for months. When he returned, he was at the helm of a clanking, mechanized monstrosity. He marched it to the center of town amidst dumbfounded onlookers and there announced that he would join the League of Legends to show the world what yordle-tech was really capable of, without hiding behind a foreign banner.
"Ugh, it’s gonna take forever to scrape your face off my suit!"

First of all I have to tell you to allways ward your lane. If you ward your lane you will know when the enemy jungler is coming for a gank. This means you will be able to escape most ganks by just running back to your tower. But there are some ganks you might have problems with. An example is when you've overextended your lane.
Combos you can use when you get ganked
A normal gank:
-->
-->
Activate
Scrap Shield and run towards your tower. Then you use your
Electro-Harpoon to slow your enemy and then use your
Scrap Shield again and you are safe.
A brutal gank:
-->
-->
-->
You start by activating your
Scrap Shield and then use
The Equalizer so they will have to run in it to chase you. Then you use your
Electro-Harpoon to slow then and increase their time inside
The Equalizer. Then you can just activate your
Scrap Shield and run away.
If your enemy chase you thruogh
The Equalizer and drops low, you can turn with a
Scrap Shield -->
Flamespitter combo. This combo shouldn't be used if the enemy is fed, has a stronger shield than you or can stun (like
Sion)

Early Game:
Boots is the best item you can start with. Not only does it help you harass, but it also makes it easier for you to escape.
Boots might save you from a gank from the enemy jungler.
Health Potion will allow you to stay in lane.
Hextech Revolver gives you spell vamp for a cheap price.
Core:
Mercury's Treads Always get these boots. It will help you against heavy cc and give you MR.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter is the best item you can build on
Rumble. It gives you health, AP and makes your spells slow enemies. This means that when you catch up to the enemy and uses
Flamespitter, the enemy can fight you and die or try to run and die.
Rabadon's Deathcap gives you tons of AP that will let you burst down any opponent easily. This is a must have item for most AP casters.
Situational:
Zhonya's Hourglass is an awesome item that provides you with tons of AP and some armor. This item can be really useful if the enemy has a fed carry or a champion like
Morgana or
Kennen.
Zhonya's Hourglass will block their ults and you will come back unharmed.
Sunfire Aegis is a really good item for
Rumble. This item will give you both health and armor while providing you an awesome passive.
Guardian Angel will help you a lot if the enemy team target you in team fights. It also provides you with extra armor and MR.
Void Staff is a great choice if the enemy start building MR.
Abyssal Mask is also a great choice if they start building MR. This item will not only help you, but your team too.
Will of the Ancients is a great item that gives you both AP and spell vamp. This item will make
The Equalizer and
Flamespitter heal you really much in team fights. Another good thing about this item is that it has an aura. The aura will give spell vamp to your whole team and give them 30 AP each. This item is just amazing.
Haunting Guise can be built if you need early magic penetration, but it falls off late game and should be replaced.
Force of Nature can be built if the enemy has many AP champions, but I usually never build it.

Remember to always ward so you don't get killed by the enemy jungler.
You can use your
The Equalizer to save a running ally.
Try to hit all enemy champions with
The Equalizer in a team fight.
Only overheat after using a
Flamespitter, the damage will be really high.
Try to not overheat in lane unless you are going for the kill.
Don't underestimate your power.
