Pros

-Extremely deadly combo throughout the game.
-Very oppressive in lane.
-Scales well into mid game.
-Good burst with 2 items.
-Very good roams.
-Massive Base hp.
-Can 1 v 2 top and jg.
-Extremely sticky and snowballs super hard.
-Fun personality.
-Kled is one of the best champions for towerdiving. If you have someone like kayn or elise who can drop tower aggro you can constantly dive your laner.
-Best voicelines in the entire game.
-Mushroom juice
-you feel like a trump supporter in texas yelling at people for getting close to his property

Cons

-Nice engage but horrible teamfight.
-Needs some kind of defensive items.
-Can get bullied by ranged matchups and tanks.
-Useless when behind.
-Half a champion when dismounted
-SKAARL IS A TRAITOR
-Item dependent
-Worst skins in the game.(sir kled)
-Ever since he rose to popularity hes been getting nerfed non stop. STOP RIOT.

We take these runes for a combination of damage and survivability

Conqueror Is just the best keystone in the game. Gives you more damage after each stack and at 12 stacks it heals you. Must have for all bruisers. You stack it in a second provided you hit your abilities.

Triumph Isnt it great killing your laner and killing the enemy jungler after since you got 12% of your health back from the first kill. Exactly. Take this everytime. It gives you so much 1 v 2 splitpushing and teamfight potential.

Last Stand We take this for the scariest possible dismounted kled. Kled loses damage when hes dismounted so we take this to negate it and to secure the 1 v 1.

Legend: Tenacity I take this instead of alacrity since im always building one attack speed item. Added tenacity is always good. Less cc = more damage per second. Alacrity is also very good. This is mostly personal choice. If you feel like it you can take alacrity and swap the attack speed rune for an adaptive force one.

Nimbus Cloak MORE MOVEMENT SPEED AFTER FLASHING. YES PLEASE. You can TP chase so hard with this

Transcendence Gives ability haste and restores CD after kill. YES PLEASE

Is YOU. This is what kled is. You have a second health bar. Your semi trustworthy immortal pet skaarl takes damage for you before you dismount and start taking damage yourself. You can win 1 v 2 with this passive EASILY. You can read the ability yourself so ill just give you a couple of tips

-If you know you are about to dismount SAVE YOUR W until you do. You can get skaarl back faster with it.
-If you throw your Q out before you dismount it will stay on your target even though you dismount
-If you are gonna remount and you are 1 hp you can Q or flash to avoid taking damage while skaarl is running back to you
-You remount from 5 auto attacks and a full Q.

Ensures that they dont escape so you can STAB THEM WITH YOUR LONG AXE. Basically you just throw a tether onto someone and if they stay in the range you yank them back, do damage and slow them for a **** ton. If you have landed your beartrap the only way to get out is to run from the range indicator or to use Zhonya's Hourglass. Not even Alpha Strike/ Sanguine Pool can stop this ability from doing damage.

This is a huge part of your damage. Its a simple 4 hit passive that does max hp damage with the last proc. nothing more to it. Pairs extremely well with Blade of the Ruined King.

This is a simple dash. You dash to a direction... You get a second dash if you hit someone... SERIOUSLY HOVER YOUR ****ING MOUSE ONTO THE ABILITY AND READ IT YOURSELF.
The only thing interesting about this ability is that only the second dash can go through walls...

This is your big **** ability. You go roam mid lane. Roam bot lane. ROAM TO THE ENEMY JUNGLE AND BEAT THE **** OUT OF THAT EVELYNN FOR TRESPASSING!. Gives you a shield and does mx hp to the first enemy hit. Damage and shield increase the longer you travel. You need to abuse this ability. Roam to bottom or mid every chance you get. Get your laners FED. GET YOURSELF FED!

Flash is a must have on all champions except for Hecarim and Yuumi. It gives you so much outplay potential and survivability. You can also Jousting into Flash for a nice jump onto the enemy.


You can take teleport if you want to. I dont. I usually take it against lanes impossible to kill like Maokai and Malphite. You can always TP bot and Chaaaaaaaarge!!! to mid lane after. Works wonders against ds players.


NOW THIS IS WHAT I TAKE. Big doink plays. Breed = different. With this you are one of the most oppressive toplaners in the game. Kill everybody in sight.
Perfect against Darius and other oppressive laners.



Sometimes you have to take these. Dont blame me if you get banned.

Abuse kleds lane phase. You are extremely oppressive and even with the slightest lead you can punish your lane opponent hard with your high mobility and stickiness.

-If your lane is hard you can just roam with your ultimate.
-Roam to the enemy jg and play with your jungler when possible!
-Poke your opponent with Q constantly
-All in when your opponent gets low enough
-After you get some items you can one shot your lane opponent without poking with Q. Remember that you snowball hard. After you get two kills this is what you will look like to the enemy team

After you have snowballed or fed your lane (you wont feed if you are over bronze 5), group with your team. You have nice mid game engage with your Chaaaaaaaarge!!!. Kled excells in midgame skirmishes thanks to his high early damage and his passive Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard.If you play correctly you basically have a free GA every skirmish. You can burst the AD with Titanic Hydra and melt the tanks with Black Cleaver at this point in the game. If your game drags out too long you NEED to learn when to peel for your backline and when to big doink someone in the face

farming is hard with kled. Your Violent Tendencies makes it this way. Try to farm with Tiamat active and with your Beartrap on a Rope / Pocket Pistol. Wasting your Violent Tendencies means you can get engaged on freely for the next 10+ seconds.

Take your junglers krugs. He wont mind. If he does, run it down.

Ban or dodge. Not worth playing.
She does so much damage to you with her vitals thanks to your highest max hp in the game. You can never throw a Beartrap on a Rope at her since it will always result in you getting stunned by her Riposte. She outdamages, outheals and outsplitpushes you. You shouldnt ever play against her since you will have her permabanned. If youre stubborn and dont ban her you just gotta farm till you lose lmao. Im a beta male so i go Bramble Vest into Ninja Tabi.

Go Bramble Vest or Executioner's Calling immediately.

Good way to win the game is to get your mid fed by roaming after shoving lane.



Annoying piece of &¤%# with a lamp.
This is a more common and more playable matchup than fiora. You need to bait out his Counter Strike with your Q and hope he misplays. This lane is winnable and game is winnable too but dont drag it too long since he HARD outscales you. You most likely cant 1v1 split against him after 2 items. If he goes Blade of the Ruined King first you cant kill him anymore unless you have a lead.

Dont build defensive against this man since he does both magic and attack damage. Go full AD against him.



Inferior (kinda superior) rat
You hate him, your carry hates him, YOUR FUC"#¤#! MOTHER HATES HIM. RIOT HATES HIM.

Since they nerfed kleds magic resist, kennen is a MASSIVE thorn in your side. This is the worst ranged matchup for you. He pokes you to death, stuns you 7 times and is unkillable thanks to his E. You gotta farm this lane with Tiamat and Beartrap on a Rope and hope he lets you live. Farming is also a problem since kennen scales extremely well in to the mid/mid-late game with his game changing R Slicing Maelstrom.
Tiamat > Mercury's Treads > Hexdrinker is your best bet.
Beg your jungler to come top. With a few ganks you can turn this lane around. Couple of kills and you should be able to win against him.
