Jungling Path
If you hit someone with sonic wave, don't jump in. Observe for a second of their movements. If they are staying and are confident in their position, then they are stealing your buff. Steal the same buff that is in their side, quickly. That is why I carry Flash, in order to escape sticky situations (or for a desperate Dragon's Rage). That is your only chance at catching up, unless it will harm the team score.
If you aren't invaded, start with a smiteless blue. Be sure to check your bushes around blue with sonic wave (taking note of your cooldown). While inside your bush, throw your sonic wave directly behind the Blue Golem at 1:55. Resonating strike in, and hit the golem twice. Now go back, juke the golem for as much as you can (without resetting the buff), then continue to auto. Land q, and quickly kill the blue buff. You have a smiteless blue. Be sure to smite it if an enemy has been spotted.
Positioning: You'll most likely want to be inside the closest bush while attacking the blue buff (Unless there is a shaco/eve/twitch/wukong, then it is all up to them) so you can spot out an invade. Smite it at the right health if there is an invade, ASAP.
Situational: You see the enemy solo/bot lane going to lane from the side. That buff has been started first. You may contest if they started blue (and if you are confident). Be sure to have smite, and you must know that this may fail. If it is a really slow jungler (most are really slow), you can even kill the buff just in time to flash out after you are spotted. Be sure to smite it on time. This is even easier if they have ghost/exhaust. Dragon spawns at 2:30.
As you can see, there are many tricks with the map that favor Lee Sin. For example, you can Q dragon, escape, then flash the wall into your tri bush. While invading, it's important to stick around the baron/dragon spawn in order to ensure escape and to have an element of surprise onto the jungler. Creeping up behind them may induce a flinch and may allow you to smite beforehand. Keep that in mind.
Never Q dragon early.
Counter ganking:
Keep in mind, this is how I counter gank in ranked solo queue (gold/plat elo). Since most of your teammates are unskilled with solo lanes (bot lane under some circumstances), you must ping your team to back as the jungler if they are overextending. It is your full responsibility to counter gank/know where your enemy jungler is. You can't let them 2v1 / 3v2 any of your lanes. So, camp a lane that is over extending. Mid is most likely over extending. Avoid being seen by a sight ward. Chances are, after a couple seconds (do to you baiting your teammate), he will be ganked. Quickly make your move -- q a low/mid health target or shield your ally.
