If you have never played

This is my first serious build, so any feedback is welcomed. :D Enjoy the guide!
EDIT
Changed build, mostly late game items.
Dominion is a fast paced game, with lots of chances to kill or be killed.
Wukong is a champion that can 1 V 1 or take on the entire team. He excels at attacking, defending, and can escape hairy situations with
Warrior Trickster.
Here are some pros and cons of the Monkey King, specifically with this build.
PROS
- Excellent fighter, chaser, and initiator.
-
Nimbus Strike,
Cyclone, and
Stone Skin allows you to take enemy groups fearlessly.
-
Warrior Trickster excellent for distracting when you are defending or attacking. Great for escape too!
- Use Nimbus Stirke to shred through minion waves and rack up gold fast!
-
Ionian Boots of Lucidity,
The Brutalizer, and
Glacial Shroud bring you to 40% CDR, making all of your abilities ready when you need them! Allows you to focus Masteries and runes on your damage and defenses.
- Can fill virtually any role in dominion. One of those champs that just goes perfectly with the game type.
- He's a flippin' monkey!
CONS
- Smart enemy players will avoid
Warrior Trickster all together. However in the heat of the moment its easy to just lose control and unload on the decoy. (I have done this several times to
Shaco's clone.) Watching your enemies waste abilities on your clone is a blast, but more often than not they are smart enough to see right through your ploy.
IMO
Wukong does not have any cons besides that.

IMO

One of my absolute favorite spells. Use it to fight, run, chase, and destroy your enemies. An absolute gift to

With this, you can hunt and kill all enemies. Use this to dive an annoying defender, or turn the tides on ballsy enemies who attack you at your own turret.
Possible Supplements

All of these are good choices, I personally believe that

DO NOT TAKE

This give us the best rounded
Wukong, I opted to use Greater Quintessence of Desolation, Greater Mark of Desolation,
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist, and
Greater Seal of Armor.
This setup is standard for
Wukong builds. Since I get all my CDR through items, my runes just focus on armor penetration and defense.
The new mastery tree is wonderful! It allows us the cut out our own specific tree for every build we make.
For this build, we are doing 21-9-0.
Pretty self explanatory.

The build is perhaps the most important thing.
Initial Buy
I always start off with a
Prospector's Blade and
Boots.
Often times Prospector items are overlooked, people outright buy level 2 boots or other items. These items are just as useful as their Doran counterparts, and I say its a crime to ignore them.
Prospector's Blade gives you health, attack, and life-steal. All of these benefit
Wukong. In fact that extra damage and health will let you gain the upper hand on the guys who went and bought their level 2 boots first...
Core Build
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
The Brutalizer
Glacial Shroud
Trinity Force
The CDR items are what make this build. These items are incredibly useful to
Wukong, and are all fairly cheep to boot. I advise not upgrading to
Youmuu's Ghostblade or
Frozen Heart. We are already at our 40% CD cap, and I think we can do without their final versions. It is more beneficial to put that money towards
Trinity Force.
When building
Trinity Force, buy
Sheen first. We don't really gain anything from the AP (
Warrior Trickster gains some benefit, but we don't really use that to deal damage.) However, the passive
Sheen provides makes our monkey a monster. We use our abilities frequently, so we will be getting much use from
Sheen's bonus damage.
From there purchase
Phage and finish with
Zeal.
Trinity Force gives us everything we need for
Wukong's offense and defense, and from here on out everything is icing on the cake.
Finishing Touches
Sanguine Blade
Odyn's Veil
Black Cleaver
I would go for
Sanguine Blade for the damage and life-steal. The passive is not half bad either.
Odyn's Veil gives health, mana, MR, and gives you a really neat AOE that will go nicely when you are taking on large team-fights.
Black Cleaver
Great Damage and Armor Pen.
If you feel that you need to supplement your items will anything situational, or you feel the lack of tenacity is hurting you, this last slot will be your replaceable item.
Also if you get really late into the game, you can replace
Prospector's Blade with one of these or finsih
Youmuu's Ghostblade and
Frozen Heart.
If you need tenacity,
Mercury's Treads is the way to go. However the loss of CDR will hurt your offense.

If you need tenacity,

I always max
Nimbus Strike first. This skill is one of my favorites. You can hit multiple champions, farm with it, and it gives you a nice AS boost.
Crushing Blow followed by
Warrior Trickster should be your priority after that.
Always put a point in
Cyclone whenever possible.
Always ready
Crushing Blow before you enter combat. Use
Cyclone to trap enemies and utterly dominate them.
Nimbus Strike will let you chase and destroy enemies and is your primary damage dealer.
Warrior Trickster is just that, a decoy. Use this to confuse and escape your enemies.

Always put a point in

Always ready
