Since her Q's buff, she has an even better way of running away without burning her ultimate. If you can dodge her Charm and get your Frozen Tomb on her, she's done.
Akali
She's not too difficult against Lissandra. Your CC makes her Stealth completely useless. If she ults you, use your Ring of Frost, then use your Frozen Tomb on her. She'll be dead withing a matter of seconds.
Annie
Annie can be annoying, with her stun and all. If you can make her use her stun on a minion wave or someone else, then you engage.
Azir
He's got high range, and high damage, but don't be discouraged. Get a Rod of Ages first, and you'll have enough health to stay alive. Burst him down after he wastes his ult on you, since you can negate it with your Glacial Path.
Brand
Brand is extremely hard to fight. His range is much like Azir's, but he does more damage, and has more CC than Azir. Look out for his AOE, as he can stun you with his fireball. The only way I know to fight him is by using your Ring of Frost, then you use your Frozen Tomb on him. After that, burst him down.
Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia has a ******** passive that I'm not a fan of. She has a great farming capability with her Twin Fang. Her Miasma is extremely annoying due to it slowing you and poisoning you, allowing her to just spam her Twin Fang. One way to beat her is by using your Ring of Frost on her and Frozen Tomb. Hopefully you can kill her then.
Anivia
Anivia's Flash Frost can do some serious damage, as well as her Glacial Storm. Shut her down early with your Ring of Frost and your Ice Shard. Open up on her with your ultimate as much as possible, while keeping your Glacial Path up just incase you need to escape.
Ezreal
Just don't let him burst you down. He runs out of mana really fast, but his kiting abilities are top-notch. If his allies aren't on the map, don't chase him. To get rid of him fast, open up with your Frozen Tomb.
Fiddlesticks
He's really squishy, but he has a ton of sustain. His fear and silence can be your downfall, so play safe. When he uses Crowstorm, don't Frozen Tomb him! His Crowstorm will keep going and possibly kill you.
Fizz
Fizz is pretty easy. Bait out his Trickster with your Glacial Path, and you can burst him down in no time.
Galio
Galio's Runic Skin can be a problem for you. Build a BUNCH of magic penetration, and you can win this trade off. Otherwise, avoid it.
Heimerdinger
Heimerdinger can be an issue with his H-28G Evolution Turrets. They can deal massive damage to you, and if he plays his cards right, he can kill you extremely fast. If you can use your Frozen Tomb on him, you can get him dead.
Karma
Karma's Mantra plus her Focused Resolve is a deadly combo, as she sustains herself off of you for massive damage. If she doesn't poke you super hard, which she WILL do, you can take advantage of the situation and use your Ring of Frost, then Ice Shard.
Karthus
This guy is super easy to take advantage of. He has no escapes. The only thing you need to worry about is his Requiem.
Kassadin
Kassadin is one of your top counters, he got nerfed and has no rang, but he can still beat the **** out of you.
Katarina
Kat's super easy to deal with. She uses her Death Lotus? Use your Ring of Frost. She goes under turret? Use your Ring of Frost. She goes into a 1v5? Use your Frozen Tomb.
Kayle
When Kayle goes mid, she means business. She has large auto-attack range, and her Righteous Fury does a bunch of damage. She can't use Intervention if you use Frozen Tomb.
Kennen
Kennen's stun is very annoying, he's like Annie. If you can dodge his Slicing Maelstrom, you can essentially dodge the most important thing to dodge. Otherwise, burst down the bunny.
LeBlanc
She's super bursty. Even without Deathfire Grasp (she didn't need it), she'll still nuke the **** outta you. You know the drill, be a Korean and use your Ring of Frost when she uses her Distortion. She should be your second ban.
Lissandra
Oh hey, it's you! This is a pretty even fight, since you have the same exact kit.
Lulu
Lulu's Glitterlance is pretty strong, but if you can dodge it, you've got this lane made.
Lux
Lux is one of your toughest to fight, as she's got her Light Binding, which, at six, will let you know that she's going to use her Final Spark on your ***.
Malzahar
He's really spooky, and by spooky, I mean he does lots of damage. He has his silence, his Malefic Visions, and his Null Zone. I don't recommend this fight, as he can do a bunch of damage in a small amount of time.
Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser has a ton of sustain, and he has a bunch of CC. He can burst you down within seconds, but you can do the same to him. This is a very even match.
Morgana
Morgana is another one of your counters, but she's not as hard of a counter as Lux. Her Dark Binding lasts longer than Lux's, but it's harder to land. If you can dodge them, you're golden. Her Soul Shackles can get you and your team wombo comboed. If she does Soul Shackle, use Zhonya's or Frozen Tomb on yourself.
Nidalee
Nidalee and her two-second Pounce. Her escape/gap-closer is amazing, but she's no Kassadin. She's still not fun to fight, but if you dodge her Javelin Toss, you can get her shut down early.
Orianna
Orianna is another one of Lissandra's hardest counters, with her shield and her amazing pop-up ultimate. She's not fun to fight, with her amazing poke game. Not advised to fight her. The way to win is by building a Rod of Ages, and some magic penetration.
Syndra
Much like Orianna, she's extremely hard to fight. Her Scatter the Weak is what you need to look out for, as it will cause your death. The way to beat her is with some Magic Resist and a Rod of Ages.
Talon
Guess who you can wreck, just like his sister? Talon. His escape is beautiful, but your CC is too good for him.
Twisted Fate
Probably your easiest to fight is Twisted Fate. He's super squishy, and has NO SUSTAIN. The only thing you should worry about is his presence on the map.
Veigar
You see this guy? You don't want to fight him, just like most AP Mid-laners. If you see a Veigar, you should not play Lissandra.
Vel'Koz
Vel'Koz is much like Brand in a sense that his abilities' range is extremely high. The way to beat this nerd? Use your Frozen Tomb or Ring of Frost to open up on him and burst him down.
Xerath
He's like Vel'Koz. On steroids. He is one of your hardest counters, as you can't do anything to fight him. His stun lasts a long while, and his range is astounding. If you have to fight him, play it safe.
Yasuo
Oh hey, it's Yasuo. He's gotta counter Lissandra, right? WRONG. Yasuo thinks his windwall will stop you, but if you can bait it out with your Ice Shard, you'll be able to burst him down faster than he can get his tornado built up. Just don't let him get fed off your team.
Zed
Zed is very easy to fight for Lissandra. Her Ice Shard feels like it has more range than Zed's shuriken. When he ults you, you know what you do? Use your Ring of Frost, then Frozen Tomb! OH MAN, HE'S A DEAD NINJA!
Ziggs
He's part of the Terrorist Squad, but he's all skillshots. Ziggs is pretty squishy, so you can burst him down fast.
Zyra
Zyra is also pretty squishy, but don't underestimate her. When she uses her ult, you should Zhonya's. Otherwise, burst her down.
Hi, I'm RadioQuail! Lissandra's my mid main, and I main the Mid Lane, so she's basically my main champion to play. This is a basic guide of how I play her, and how she counters specific champs that you wouldn't think she'd counter. ON WITH THE GUIDE
Runes
Runes
Your average Runes are Marks of Magic Pen, Seals of Armor, Glyphs of MR, and Quints of flat AP. The only time you'd get different runes is basically when.) A: You don't have enough IP to afford them.) B: You switch from Marks of Magic Pen to Marks of flat AP, and Quints of Magic Pen.
Masteries
Masteries
I normally go 21/9/0, but the only time you'd go 21/0/9 is when you are confident in your ability to not die, or you're, for sure, going to get a Rod of Ages.
If you're fighting Orianna, Syndra, or Lux, get yourself a Rod of Ages, which will help you survive their everything. Also, if you want to have Utility in your Masteries, grab a Rod of Ages. For extra magic pen, get Void Staff. If you get Rod of Ages grab a Seraph's Embrace because Seraph's passive has synergy with Rod. Why should I get a Rabadon's Deathcap? Why not?! Oh hey look, here's an item you can get if you're super fed and have no chance of getting shut down. (This is known as a Mejai's Soulstealer.) If you need to initiate teamfights, get a Twin Shadows for the vision, then the slow. Get an Abyssal Mask if you need to sport some magic resist.
Lissandra's playstyle is different from a lot of other champions. She's not all skill shots, but instead, all AOE's (area of effect). With her short range on her main damaging ability, Ice Shard, she can expand that range by hitting a minion wave with it. Her Ring of Frost is meant to lock down enemy champions, as Lissandra is a heavy dueling champion, but she's also very good at teamfights with her Frozen Tomb.
