About the Author:
My name is Livramento, I'm from germany and I playing on the EU West Server since february 2012. I'm a average summoner with nearly 500 wins in Summoners Rift, Twisted Treelines and Dominion.
My main champions on Twisted Treelines are Dr. Mundo, Volibear and Warwick on solo top or solo bot.

My preferred meta is the "Bruiser Meta", the name says all, take a bruiser and separate some heads from necks. The most viable picks are tanks, off-tanks, bruisers, but some AP carries like Brand, Diana or Katarina are viable too. Whats the important thing on this map? you're right, the teamfights. What wins teamfights? yeah good boy/girl, you need:
• a good initiate
• some sorts of CC
• a mix of physical and magical damage.
• good positioning
Thats the "5 Holy Rules" in your GGWP-Bible :) The second important thing on Twisted Treelines are the ganks. Ganks gives your team a advantage, gank the lanes so often, it is possible. Hold the pressure on every enemy on a high level. Who's scared, makes errors.
Ohh i have a little hint for you all, take items with flat stats over regeneration stats. You can easy call back and the way on the lanes are really short.
These champions can carry a game alone or with some help from their team. These are really strong picks.
Examples for Self Carries: Darius or Fiora
Examples for Carries with help: Dr. Mundo or Wukong
These champions can carry a game with more help from their team or supports other champions in carrying.
Examples for Carries with help: Fizz or Singed
Examples for Supporting other's: Lulu or Warwick
These champions need the right team to shine. they need a lot of help from their team.
Examples for Carries with help: Annie or Kog'Maw
Examples for Supporting other's: Alistar or Blitzcrank
These champions are not so viable like other's. Pick these champions at your own risk.
• = AD Carry/Bruiser/Tank
• = AP Carry/Bruiser/Tank
• = Hybrid Carry/Bruiser/Tank
• = AD or AP Carry/Bruiser/Tank
Q: Could you name a few setup ideas ?
On TT, you need tankiness, CC, a mix of physical and magical damage and some AoE damage.
Take champs with steroids and/or gap closers/escape tools.
You can build some different teams:
Lee Sin + Jax + Cho'Gath
a balanced team with CC, tankiness and mixed damage.
Lee Sin + Jax + Yorick
a other good balanced team. Lee Sin is the jungler,he ganks all lanes. Yorick holds and controls the bot lane easily with ganks against two enemies. Jax goes on top lane and deals physical and magical damage. With Yorick's ultimate, he lives long enough for shredding the enemies team.
Jarvan IV + Wukong + Vi or Warwick
a cc heavy team with hard initiates and CC.
Cho'Gath + Volibear + Olaf
a tanky team. This guys deals alot of damage and get many life, armor and magic resist items.
Q: Why are the most carries in rank 3. or rank 4. ?
IMO all AD/AP carries are very situational and need the right team setup, a carry need a tank as protector. I think the best way for a carry pick is, when you want outrange or outfarm a enemy.
AD carries are so squishy (I hate squishes on TT) and needs alot of farm for her final build, thats a big con in my opinion.
AP carries are squishy and "mana hungry". But a Athene's Unholy Grail and Rylai's Crystal Scepter can save your ***. My rule: "tankiness wins games"
