Why should you play Pyke mid?
Pyke as a support lacks many things, and so mid seems like a much better fit for him, he has high damage, good ganks, and invis and a dash as well as a hook and a great ulti for finishing off low target heroes, he's mobile and roams better than any midlaner.

The Laning phase consists of securing the last hits you can and taking kill opportunities when possible
