Intro

This is a guide aimed towards you who wants make a over power view of Jarvan IV. I make this guide because I don't see anyone makin a nice Offtank build of Jarvan. I fall in love of Jarvan cause he has the power, the power who I sought, the power of Demacia! I also like to tell you as I'm brasilian, so please correct my bad english! as a great champion and have a amazing history.

Starting Itens

In the jungle, you wanna want some movement speed, cause helps a lot in low level gaming. Is aways a better way to start a game.

MID Game Itens

is a powerfull item from , cause your ultimate requires you some health (from the item) and armor/magic resist(you i'll get it in the runes)

are a awsome item who gives you damage and critical strike, and has a combo with

Skills

Jarvan IV Skills

Martial Cadence: This is the passive hability of Jarvan, that passive gives you a psychall extra damage.

Dragon Strike: That ability do a damage in front of , do a nice damage.

Golden Aegis: This one gives a shield, and slow the enemies in area.

Demacian Standard: This is my favourite skill, gives you a armor and attack speed buff.

Cataclysm: This is ult, he goes in enemies direction and holds all enemies in area.

Tips and Tricks

If you use Dragon Strike on Demacian Standard direction, you will throw all enemies up, and its a great escape.
Your ult can kill all members of your team, if you don't use in good way. If you can't tank, don't use it, only for chasing.
Your passive has psycall damage one time and 6 seconds later will do again, so, use it in diferent targets in the jungle

Pros/Cons

Pros

He is awsome jungler, clean it very fast;
He have two "CC" who helps team a lot;
He have a excelent gank on late game;
Have a great escape (Q+E).

Cons

Your ultimate can screw up your team fight;
He is kinda hard to play;
You need to know how combo your Q+E;
He is easy counterable

Situational Itens

aways need a good armor and magic resist for tank in his ultimate, and have some itens who is powerfull in late game.

I usually make this for Jarvan in late game, cause he is very focused in the ult. This item can subistitute or .

This item is not in the main build because its a UNIQUE passive and support aways do that, so if your support don't do that please make sure have one aegis in the build. This item can subistitute .

and is a smart way to damage, cooldown recuction, critical chance and health, it's not on main build cause don't need and also is so much overpower on season 3, doing damage, cooldown reduction and health. and has amazing passives and work together, its a choice, bot for me its not a better choice.

Its a amazing item for , it's the better choice to do for magic resist and have a awsome passives who gives you a shield and give +1 attack damage for every 2.5% damage of your maximum health you missing. In other words, you gain damage same you missing your health. Its amazing when you are focused.
